I was in an accident October 2015 and was taken to this hospital. I had head trama and continued to be seen at the neurology dept. In those 2years I was lied to by a nurse regarding my meds for 3 months and didn't have seizure meds for that time. She did eventually get terminated. They also changed Dr's 3 times In those 2 years which have been very frustrating. Now they changed Dr's again and now can't even finish my FMLA papers without being seen again. This hospital and Neurology dept. " Which is part of the hospital" has been a nightmare. I have tried multiple times to get things addressed through HR and patient assistance and have got no help at all. Take your health serious and go somewhere more professional that cares for their patients

My husband just recently had his gallbladder removed after going to ER. He had to stay a couple nights. All the staff was awesome and very kind.
Dr Hasl was awesome with us both. Kind and thorough. He explained everything and seemed to really care about my husband and the family. Great bed side manners from everyone.

This past Sunday evening (July 8th, 2018) I went into the ER with horrible gallbladder pains. I was sweating, vomiting, (I had have prior kidney stones and it was that bad!). I waited in the ER, when I went into triage the nurse was very rude with me. Let me tell you a little about me because this is important, I have very blue hair and lots of piercings and tattoos. After getting questioned, and telling them I had 10/10 pain in my abdominal area where my gallbladder is located, I was sent back into the waiting room. I sat, sweated and cried. I was then put in a wheelchair and put back into a triage room where they told me I would be getting an IV put in. No IV was put in and I was finally told I have a room ready for me. I was very out of it and crying in pain. The nurse stops me at the bathroom, leaves me to get a urine sample cup. I fold over in pain and lean on a bedside table to keep from falling. A man (I have no idea who he was) grabbed me by my arm and said "This woman needs help!" My nurse comes back to us and says "No, she's fine" and I replied "NO! I'M NOT FINE! I'M IN PAIN!" She pushes me into the bathroom as I try to ask her why they were asking me such weird questions in triage. She tells me they ask everyone those questions now. I give my urine sample and am put into a room. I am lying on a bed for over an hour. During that time 3 people entered the room asking if I gave a urine sample. Not one person asked me how I was, if I was okay, or to give me an IV or pain medicine. After an hour I was so mad! I had a nurse come in the room and I told her that my urine is clean, I am not a drug user, PLEASE, GET ME HELP! I AM IN PAIN! Two minutes later they come in to give me an IV. I finally get a scan done. They tell me I have no gallstones, they are sending me home. I was so angry, I left before they could sign me out.
Today is Tuesday (Monday I felt so sick I couldn't get out of bed only to use the bathroom). I went to my family Doctor. He saw on the scan that I have swollen lymph nodes in my chest and infected polyps in my lungs. He also ordered another (better) scan of my gallbladder. The focus on my gallbladder is important because I had gastric bypass a year ago. So now I am on antibiotics and will have a better scan done. They said nothing of this at the ER.
This is not the first time I have been treated horrible in the ER at FMC. But this was the straw that broke the camels back. I am NOT going to let anyone judge me because of my appearance. I don't care how I look, just treat me because I am sick! This is appalling and no matter what pain I am in, I am driving further out to get better treatment!

UPDATE: It's August 8th, I had to have my gallbladder removed a week after this happened!!!

And I did call, and came in. I was just apologized to over the phone. Thanks so much...

This place is a joke. My sister came here needing help and they did nothing for her. These people let her leave and not get the help she needed. I wouldn't recommend this place to someone that is already dead.. The doctors and nurses all lie and the excuses were "shes an adult"when she had no idea where she was.

This place is really dirty if you look around, the vent above my bed was filthy, the seats in the ER are broken down, dirty and the floor is not well kept. The walls and pictures in the waiting area are visibly filthy with finger prints, food and Lord knows what else. Also I watched a FMC Police Office give a massage to Nurse "Casey" who was sitting at the desk the entire time we were there and some people never left the desk. No wonder wait times are so bad. I would think in this era of sexual abuse allegations massaging another staff member would be a big no-no. I just felt creeped out and turned my head. I was there on 5/20/1018 with my brother in law and brother. Someone else copied this and posted it as their post under another FMC review. I tried to call that number about the Patient Representative to no avail. They said they did not know what to tell me. I think the operator put me through to the wrong people. .
