Dr masj is wonderful! As is his whole staff. The lab is great, even tho my favorite lady been gone for over a year now. All surgeries there were a success also
We were told to be there to check in by 10:30. Once back in our final destination, we sat for over 30 minutes without being acknowledged. I had to ask how much longer. We are finally taken back an hour after our admitting time. Two hours later we are still waiting. Meanwhile, my son has been fasting since the night before and has now missed breakfast and lunch. The lack of communication and long wait times is ridiculous. I will do my best to never come here again!
First off, this hospital is great. The service, the speed, the attentiveness, staff, and food (especially the food). Not only are almost all the staff that I encountered professional; but they're also very personable and many of them went above and beyond to spend extra time with me -- talking to me and making conversation to help the time pass quicker while I was there.
The issue that a lot of people on here aren't taking into account is that they're not comparing this hospital to other ones. When compared with other hospitals in california (and I've been a patient at a good number of them throughout my life for chronic issues), this hospital's definitely one of the better ones. And this includes ER wait times, food, and service from the staff.
Feather River Hospital has a great, caring, compassionate family team of medical care providers. An immaculate facility that gives you a sense of calm as well as confidence, knowing that you or your loved ones are under the skilled care of professionals. Thank you FRH!
For an ER it was a pleasant experience, they seemed very organized, it took a while to diagnose my condition so don't make plans for afterward. But they were very friendly, answered my questions, concerns and got me on my way to recovery while explaining how to deal with my insurance (which I had just gotten as I'm only 18 years of age and pretty new to this adult thing), it was I pretty nice experience overall, but bring a magazine.
