Recently used this hospital for surgery. From the time I arrived the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. My only issue is that the facility is dated, and in need of a remodel. Shout out to my RN Arlyn for being an awesome Nurse. Keep up the good work AHNP!!!

My husband is in patient now! This is horrible! Never come here! They treat you nice to lure you in then crickets. So stressful no nurse comes in for 4+ hours and tries to lie and say she did when I haven't moved from this chair. Then says "oh I probably peeked in and saw he was ok". Really, sight nursing on a Cardiac Floor! Take your loved ones elsewhere!

I was in there Tuesday evening after my wife and daughter were rear ended by a hit and run driver. All they did for my daughter that hit the dash board on the passenger side with the right side forehead and eye was give her an ice pack. When I questioned the attending doctor about it his response was “ Do you want 2 ice packs”. Totally unprofessional.

Why the 7th day Adventist Church let their name be added and made a part of Florida Hospital is bemusing since this hospital is an extremely poor care system!

As an individual with an extensive background in medicine I presented th the Pinellas Hospital on 2-14-19 with acute pain level 20
Back pain an extremely acutely numb leg and a CT scan that was abnormal suggesting a possible infection and lower spine abnormalities plainly documenting a possible spinal infection and abnormalities elucidating why I had acute back pain and a numb left leg
And a numb right foot. Yet this ER healthcare system was totally dismissive of my plight and the fact I am unable to cook, or function at all with the acute pain level of 20 and a numb left leg and right foot.

Radiology films for the Pinellas Hospital site are read remotely in Tampa. After looking at my CT scan on 2-1418 their radiologist suggested an MRI with and without contrast yet this service was denied and I was sent home where I remain in bed 24-7 in acute pain and a serious fall risk.
All who have written negative comments about this hospital are on the ball and accurately describing what goes on in this hospital setting. Kudos to all who exposed the truth about this hospital and the poor care
At Florida Hospital.

Shame on this hospital and the 7th day Adventist for lending their name and brand to this Deplorable excuse for a hospital.

I have Cadillac insurance, require no referrals or copayments so my insurance was not an issue.

God Bless the woman who wrote about the poor care her husband received in this hospitals Cardiac care inpatient section and the gentleman with a medical background who exposed his poor ER care.

Run do not walk from the Advent Hospital
Care system.
Their commercials showing they now have merged with the Advent church is just a bunch of fluff and lies and does not reflect the truth of this abomination of a medical system.

Someone needs to organize a class action
Lawsuit against this institution.

Remember Walgreens with an urgent care center are run by Advent Hospital with equally poor care. You are much better going to a CVS
With an urgent care where the care is kind and caring as well as compassionate.

Very impressed with this ER, Chris in the ER placed my IV last night. I've never had a better experience. He not only got my IV placed on the first attempt he also placed it in a comfortable location. I'm more then a difficult stick so this was extremely appreciated and unexpected. Penny was my RN and she was so kind and compassionate as was everyone else. For having to be in the ER they made the experience as pleasant as possible. Currently admitted and again for having to be admitted I'm impressed with the level of care by all I've been in contact with.
