Florida Hospital Tampa

I had outpatient surgery yesterday from a severe cooking injury (funny yes but true). The doctors, nurses and staff were wonderful and had the best bedside manner I have ever experienced. This was my first time having surgery ever and they made me feel very calm and comfortable. I sincerely want to thank the hospital administrators for operating a hospital that has such a wonderful staff!

ER...Jenna, Christina, Chris, Josh, and Kevin are amazing. The highest standard of care. The proceeding staff left much to be desired. Maybe the next crew will be more impressive.

After being admitted for surgery the wait time to get into a Room was 12 hours. The Room size was so small that the bed had to reset by agnelli in the Room and you could not get the IV stand between the bottom of the bed of the wall. If someone reclined the chair you could not open the Room door ! This was surely a Room design by an accountant. So they could charge a single Room rate for something that 1 small bed didn't fit in. Room 535A. In 5 SOUTH....WHAT A JOKE!

I was admitted to the emergency room b/c I fainted and hit my head . The the ambulance took their sweet time to take me to the hospital. I was bleeding a lot from the back of my head .The doctor stapled my head without cutting my hair and no numbing medicine with blood still dripping , The nurse (young student) refused to clean wound after repeated request ,she insisted it wasn't necessary , that i could wash my hair the next day. She also told me that this is the emergency room we fix the issue, we are not here to pamper. Days after cutting my hair I noticed I had another cut in my head that they didn't attended to b/c they never cleaned or cut hair to check . They are sloppy and unprofessional . Stay AWAY FROM ADVENT HEALTH. TAMPA GENERAL HOSPITAL IS THE BEST .

We had to be admitted here with my daughter she had a really bad ear infection.. the ladies that took care of her at night were the BEST!! Kept us informed with everything explained what they were doing!! And very attentive!! Best hands down hospital!!! And the ear nose and throat doctor was amazing too!! As soon as he came into our room he was very confident and knowledgeable about our situation and what was wrong with our daughter!!
