One of the worst places I've ever received care for my children. My 2 year old had an injury that i wanted to get looked at to make sure it wasn't serious. After waiting 4 hours his injury was made worse thanks to the physician and ultra sound technicians. We were there a total of 5 hours. He was screaming in pain when the ultrasound tech told him to "stop crying" because it was making her job hard. He is 2 and he was in Pain! That's when I had enough. I took my poor baby and left that sorry place in tears. Besides the horrible care and insane wait it was dirty and run down. The nurse didn't change the sheets after a patient left and lied straight the the next patients face when asked if she did. The waiting room is chalk full of unwell people but the Dr. And nurse walk around like it's the slowest night of the year. I'm not at all convinced the doctor even listened to me since when he repeated back what i told him it was a completely different story. I would rather drive an hour than go back to that place. Horrible experience.

I have had surgery here. I have been here for Myou own illnesses.
Today I am here because my daughter is sick. My daughter arrived at 1432. My daughter chief complaint is SEVERE CHEST PAINS and VOMITING.
I arrived at 1510 and the only thing they did in triage was her vitals... NO EKG!!!! I asked what the wait time was because of her chest pains and I was ASKED if my daughter had an EKG????
I'm like really? You asking me, who just got here and, you're the nurse!
Long story short, unlike our wait time.... it is now 1702!!!!!! And she is still in the lobby!!!!!!
What are they waiting for..her to PASS OUT?
If you have a minor cut or non life threatening illness and so t mind waiting .... FWMC is the place for you..... if you are SEVERELY ILL.... DO NOT COME HERE !!!!!!!

The only reason I keep coming here is because that is where the ambulance keeps bringing me. This is the absolute worst "hospital" ever. After having a seizure and dislocating my shoulders was brought here with severe rt shoulder pain. the dr could have definitely listened to my list of meds that I cannot have. The nurse that I was assigned to was absolutely horrible! She had a bad attitude and was not attentive at all. When I asked her to a ask the dr if I can get an rx for
Some pain medication as over the counter meds do not work for me and most of them I cannot have. She instructed me to take both motrin and tylenol, which I CANNOT have. She acted as if I was inconveniencing her by asking her to do her job. She then tells me the meds they gave me have Tylenol in it and if I didn't have a reaction then I was fine. Needless to say I am not looking forward to the flare up of inflammatory bowel disease I will be having in a few hours due to the medication they gave me. I was then discharged with no pain meds and not even so much as an arm sling. So I have been holding my arm up with the other sore arm.I work in the health care field as well and would NEVER treat a pt like I was treated today. Newsflash..if you dont like treating patients then you need to find another profession. The only person there that seemed to give a damn was the xray tech. I was better off staying home. Guess I'll have to deal with this severe pain and no range of motion until I see my orthopedic dr. I will not be returning but this is not the last they will here of me.
