I have mixed feelings about this place. I got gastric bypass 3/12/19 my doctor was great and the surgical staff very professional. My problem is some of the nurses on the floor. I don’t know where some of these ppl went to nursing school but it wasn’t good. I don’t know if there is a separate Bariatric floor but they need to get it together. I had a few LPN’s that actually caused me more pain. I was heavily medicated , I’m talking heavy(so much so I had to ask them to stop, that I wanted ty something less b/c I could barely move and get up or eat) and when I rang for help the lady’s voice was like yea? You could tell by the tone in her voice she was bothered to answer , and I didn’t call much. My boyfriend stayed in the room with me they have a small couch and he basically did all the work. I barely saw anyone. That’s more my problem just because you have a relative or significant other in the room with you doesn't mean you don’t come in the room to check on the patient.. as a matter of fact my boyfriend helped out so much y’all should of paid him for working your jobs lol it was that bad . So In the long run NO I wouldn’t stay here ever again.

This is by far the best medical facility at which I have been treated. The nurses are phenomenal; caring, compassionate and empathetic. And the staff for pre-op (from check-in to labs -shout out to the lab tech with the golden touch! X-ray and respiratory labs). The doctors and nurses are among the best I have ever experienced.

Nursing staff was great. However you're asked to take your medications. While your stay in hospital you're given your own medication. You have to ask for ice for your water, otherwise you're given a warm bottle of water. Heavily medicated , so when meals are brought to you and your sleeping, the staff will bring your cold tray. The most important thing to know is that what you're told the surgery will cost IS A LIE! I had a back fusion and was in this facility from Friday and was released Monday. The amount submitted to my insurance was $350,222.02!!! No this not a typo...it's the amount billed. My insurance is having a difficult time getting itemized copy explaining the charges. I received an "itemized " copy emailed to me, but no itemized actually stating what exactly each charge is for!!!! Go to another hospital that's honest and know an approximate cost of services!

My husband had surgery at Foundation Hospital. It is VERY impressive. It is immaculate. The staff is very courteous and patient focused. We highly recommend.

My first experience was very comfortable, staff was very caring. Dr. Abbate was very good at explaining every aspect of what was to be done. Well tomorrow morning I will have the Doctor perform my second procedure . I Recommend this hospital to every friend I have.
