Franciscan Healthcare – Munster

My husband was brought to the emergency room and was admitted to hospital for two weeks the staff in emergency was awesome the nurses on the second were fabulous if not more . Gilda and Danielle were wonderfull extremely caring he boasted about the food. Mari the patient tec was great and Stacy the occupation therapist was a ray of sunshine. Best Hospial ever. He thanks u for making an unwanted stay meaningful..

Nick is a nurse at this hospital and was an overall horrible person to deal with. He belitted my friend and insinuated she was trying to lie to him when she told him of her other issues after telling the initial nurse what her primary issue was. Each time I come here I'm met with hostility or a nurse or doctor that don't take my or my friend's complaints or worries. We feel like a bother and it's highly disrespectful and disturbing that someone with a genuine concern is met with such blatant passive emotion like we're a hindrance on their day. It just so happens that Nick was the straw that broke the camel's back with his "holier-than-thou" attitude towards us. We're humans, treat us like one.

The doctor Anthony G was extremely rude, he refused packing of my wound when a surgeon gave me instruction to have it repacked within 2 days. I texted my aunt informing her what the doctor said she called the hospital after the phone call she had with whomever, he then stormed back into the room and said “you’re texting whoever you’re texting saying I’m refusing to repack your wound please don’t miscommunicate to anyone” the experience here was horrible and I’m sure the hostility had something to do with my race.

Just had some tests done and everybody I encountered was professional and friendly! The woman at the front desk even walked me to the elevator with a friendly smile! Next, in cardiology and again all professional and friendly. It was a wonderful experience!

Daughter had nuclear medicine test today . Chris was her tech and treated her like gold. I made sure before we left that he knew that was appreciated. We have had a few visits to er no complaints there either.
