Everytime I've come to this ER has been a great experience. Last night was no different. Brought my child in for a snake bite she was seen quickly and monitored accordingly. James was incredibly helpful and made my daughter feel at ease. We have been here for several hours now and they always ask if there is anything they can get for us. They brought my daughter water, my husband coffee and even brought a recliner in the ER room we are in so that my husband and I could take down turns laying down to get some rest while we wait. Warm blankets for everyone too. My daughter is doing much better and while I don't look forward to the bill it's hard to put a price on a clean bill of health.

Let me start by stating that I regret not having the option of giving it less than one star. Out of convenience we have, time and again, found ourselves waiting for an eternity in this hospital. Six hours once. Nine hours another time. Five when we were referred by Urgent Care. We ended up leaving each time to go to Mercy. One visit we found they had alerted local police after we left (to go to Mercy) because they incorrectly assumed I left in such a hurry that I brought the IV tip with me! Mercy saw us immediately, and informed us of the APB out for us, but we're not judgmental and we're extremely helpful. In fact, they made note of the number of patients they receive solely on this basis. Next time I go to Freeman better be when I'm already dead.

Rediculous! Sent to the ER from Urgent Care. My husband is short of breath & has abdominal pain. The Urgent care Doctor seemed pretty concerned. So that worried us & has us uneasy. We have set in the waiting room for 5.5hrs before they atleast took him back to get his blood drawn. They have no regard or concern for his condition. They say they are "triaging" their patients but how does a "hurt finger" trump having trouble breathing & abdominal pain?!? We only stayed because Urgent care sent us here & his x-ray results. I tried getting his papers/info so we could go to Mercy (whom said they could basically get us right in!) & Freeman ER gave us the run-around. Now going on 6 hrs waiting in the waiting room with No End in sight!! Will not recommend this ER & definitely wont be back!

It only gets a one star rating cause that's the least I could put. Been there twice in 3 days and waited soooooo long to even be called back, then the wait for nurses and doctors. Horrible service! Horrible wait times! I am in need of emergency attention and they chose to discharge me this morning because I went outside to take car of my belongings when my ride was leaving. So not only did they just do that, they put my life at risk, if I die or have any life altering defects its Freemans fault. DONT GO TO FREEMAN

The nurse practitioner Courtney and the other gentleman nurse (sorry I don’t know your name)with her were excellent! My 2 year old daughter is shy and was scared last night. They both went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. Thank you both so much for treating my daughter with so much kindness and gentleness. Thank you!!
