Top notch. We are so fortunate to have access to such first-rate care. They saved my life several times and kept me almost completely pain-free each time. I thank God that I have access to Geisinger Health Care through my former employer the State of Pennsylvania. I'm alive today because of our Good Lord and Geisinger. That's a fact. And such wonderful staff!!!

Went there after a logging accident. The three nurses who cared for me in the ER and ER hall room where I spent the night we’re great! Good nurses and care up on fourth floor the next day. Trauma doctors were on top of things and super competent and cat scans and in bed x rays were easily available and staffed by great folks. Good health returning experience after a broken rib, leaking and collapsing lung lobe and other sprained body parts.

Wonderful Er Doctor, but my nurse Brittney refused to even see me. I saw the doctor 3 times and my nurse 0. I rang for her 3-5 times and she would send a tech. After asking why I can’t see my nurse I was told they have more important patients. (I’m here for heart issues) after I voiced my concern to one of the other nurses about Britney I noticed the whole mood change and every nurse was moody, short, and frankly rude. So I now have a cult of rude nurses taking ‘care’ of me. So disappointed in the hospital and the ‘medical professionals’ that work there. Shame on every one of you er nurses hanging up on patients and making them feel unwelcome and not important.

When I broke my hip, they were AWESOME. Really nice nurses. I recently had another emergency surgery. Everyone was terrific. Just a week ago I took my hubby to the ER. We left after 3 hours of waiting. You gotta take the good with the bad, I guess.

If I could give negative stars I would. Back again due to insurance. HORRIBLE AGAIN. Almost 7 hours in the waiting room. Was in here a few days ago and waiting 5 1/2 hours. Receptionist has horrible people skills. We were told one patient before us for the last 2 1/2 hours. I understand it goes by severity but I worked in an ER before and this is absolutely Ridiculous. I would rather pay the put of network fee than come back here! Over an hour and a half in waiting room for my husbands Head injury. Still waiting on Transport for a Cat Scan... 2 hours so far.. With a woman who hasn't stopped talking very loud, for 2 hours! TERRIBLE SERVICE
