I was brought in today with a kidney stone attack. Dr. Cross and her staff were extremely attentive, compassionate, and comforting. I was there for almost 6 hours, but during that time, at least 5 different staff periodically came in to check in on me regularly and explained to me that the wait was due to a major motor vehicle accident that occurred instead of just keeping me in the dark about why I had to wait so long. They were very thorough and very kind. May God Bless them all!!
My father was and still is ICU with a cardiac arrest. The staff has been completely beyond helpful, kind, comforting and amazing with care for my father and our family. The Nurses have put so much effort in the details to monitor my father's condition and they all are so great with great attitudes and vibes. Specifically wanted to recognize the Nurses Susan and Mel they have been the most helpful and have been working very hard, as we were here most hours over a few days in a row. I cannot express it words the concern and care this unit has for all of our family. Thank you for all your hard work, physical and mental labor and knowledge to fight to try to keep my father alive. It will never go unnoticed. You are so important in this world. Thank you.
The worst hospital. I wouldn’t wish this place upon my worst enemy. Transfer your loved ones to a major city hospital...PLEASE. Just awful!
I was an emergency walk in. M y Blood pressure was very high ( I could have had a stroke at any time at this point.) I had no wait time I was treated with compasion, kindness and knowledge. I can not thank you all enough for explaining all that I did not know. in terms that I did understand . Thank you for bringing down my pressure and giving me life.
I took my son to the orthopedic clinic for a fracture. Was told no cast was needed although the Dr said he did in fact have a fracture and it would take 6-8 weeks to heal. The Dr said activities as tolerated if it hurts don’t do it. I said to the Dr you do realize he’s 3? He said pretend you didn’t hear the word fracture and treat it as a bad sprain. I left and immediately called primary dr. Was seen the following day in Wilkes Barre office by pediatric orthopedic. The growth plate fracture I was told he had was in fact a fracture of the tibia and he is now in a full leg cast. Thankfully I followed my gut and didn’t listen to the first Doctors recommendations. If a mother has concerns listen to them and the best interest of the patient should always come first. I would not recommend to anyone.
