My father was and still is ICU with a cardiac arrest. The staff has been completely beyond helpful, kind, comforting and amazing with care for my father and our family. The Nurses have put so much effort in the details to monitor my father's condition and they all are so great with great attitudes and vibes. Specifically wanted to recognize the Nurses Susan and Mel they have been the most helpful and have been working very hard, as we were here most hours over a few days in a row. I cannot express it words the concern and care this unit has for all of our family. Thank you for all your hard work, physical and mental labor and knowledge to fight to try to keep my father alive. It will never go unnoticed. You are so important in this world. Thank you.

I took my son to the orthopedic clinic for a fracture. Was told no cast was needed although the Dr said he did in fact have a fracture and it would take 6-8 weeks to heal. The Dr said activities as tolerated if it hurts don’t do it. I said to the Dr you do realize he’s 3? He said pretend you didn’t hear the word fracture and treat it as a bad sprain. I left and immediately called primary dr. Was seen the following day in Wilkes Barre office by pediatric orthopedic. The growth plate fracture I was told he had was in fact a fracture of the tibia and he is now in a full leg cast. Thankfully I followed my gut and didn’t listen to the first Doctors recommendations. If a mother has concerns listen to them and the best interest of the patient should always come first. I would not recommend to anyone.

Emergency room is horrible. Dr.’s take their sweet time and they leave you waiting for hours. Nobody tells you anything unless you get mad and ask them. Then they give you attitudes. This emergency room sucks.

Stared out in the ER around mid night. ER are always chaotic and never a good experience. ( not a fan of the ER experience ) Admitted next morning. Nursing staff is exceptional. I can’t say enough good things about them. So pleasant and caring. This is our third time here this year and the nursing staff is consistently outstanding! I keep choosing this hospital because of the nursing staff. Many thanks to them and the care they give my mom.

Worst place ever. Went in there and ended up waiting for 5 damn hours. I just got up and left, I’ll just go somewhere else in A couple hours. Since it was 5 in the morning. The staff doesn’t check up on you. I don’t know what type of college laid back students is hired for this hospital, but they need to fire them because this is unacceptable. I felt like they just didn’t care, clearly if you are in an emergency don’t go to this emergency center because they’ll leave you in the room until it’s too late.
