Excellent care from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave. Dr. Marc Soares took time with me, was kind, compassionate and explained everything. My nurse Tawnya could not have made me feel more secure and comfortable the entire time.

A friend got a sharp pain on his elbow. He went in to ER and an X-ray was taken. He was charged $1200 and guess what, the doctor said the X-ray was blurry and sent him home with pain killer. That’s ridiculous. Isn’t it? I took the X-ray to a family doctor. He said that’s a terrible X-ray.

Still waiting for that response During thomas fire I was evicted and dropped a table on my foot moving, my big toe was hurt and I went to the hospital because it was hard to walk, expecting some kind of help. Dr. Valentine was very insistent on lancing my big toe, I didnt want to because I didnt have a place to live and she refused to give me anti biotic medication regardless of my being very insistent and having cencal. I got a septic infection afterwards, my foot and entire leg were stolen and I had black spider veins coming up from it. I returned to the hospital and was told if it was another day or two my foot or leg would have needed to be removed and I would have been in the hospital for a long time. They put nr under with general anaesthesia and did surgery on my foot. My emergency contact wasnt called and I was allowed to drive away immediately after. They never responded when I called about malpractice.

I went to the er on Sunday after an off leash pit bull at alice keck charged me and my service dog. Vincent greeted me along with a middle aged blonde telling me no dogs are allowed in the hospital. I have been to the er in the last year with my service dog. He was never a problem but this er is something else. He tells me I am not allowed in the hospital with a dog. The dog is wearing his vest and I am trying to explain this to both people. They point at a sign and tell me that their safe space is being violated because I am getting upset and being rude. No, actually they violated the ADA and continued to be rude condescending and unhelpful. Vincent went out of his way to come back to the nursing station to mock me and make fun of me openly. When I asked for a manager I got the night charge nurse who he claimed knew nothing about the ada. I offered to show him with my phone but he refused. The woman the splinted my finger put it on sticking straight out with some kind of bandage I am allergic to and then Dave, whoever Dave is comes in and tells me he needs to address my high blood pressure. I do not have high blood pressure my blood pressure goes up when people are aggravating, inflammatory idiots. It was bad enough after the Thomas Fire that I got the flu here and was treated by a doctor with her degree from the Canary Islands that released me after 4 days (I went in with toxigenic pneumonia and then developed sepsis and my regular MD came to the hospital and begged them to keep me longer) and sent me home without oxygen, home care or follow up but this was the worst. Then Dave bends the splint and now the splint is sticking out 1.5 inches too far. Bet that is one big bill the insurance got so I could be insulted, demeaned and threatened by the caring staff at cottage in goleta. Fun times. ADA has been contacted

First it was an online briefing for an at home hospital appointment scheduler on hangout. I thought I was going to be a video, but it was all through text, In less then an hour I was “hired”, then she said I was going to receive a check to buy supplies...red flag. I felt like she used the word “trust” to often. She told me to contact an email that wasn’t the hospital, and that the hr team wanted the conversation recorded on hangout so she wouldn’t call me, then I requested her work email and she disappeared. Mean while I’m trying to contact this hospitals hr and security team to let them know, or at least ask. I called about 10xs and I left a voice mail. I’m over it but I hope they get the bad PR they deserve for this. Someone is impersonating a repressive of your hospital and some was trying to help.
