It saddens me to see so many others just like I have had a negative experience here. It’s quite alarming as well. I’ve since moved and now go to the University’s hospital. At least they are competent and caring there. This hospital has a real culture issue. They don’t understand that patients are also customers. PAYING CUSTOMERS at that. In any business when providing a service the customer experience is extremely important. Create a culture of not only taking care of the customer but also providing them with the best experience possible. People just want proper care and honesty. Is that too much to ask for? If you’ve had a negative experience here like me and most of my family then don’t spend your hard earned money here. You deserve the upmost respect and care and if that means driving a little farther and spending a little more money then do it. Your worth it.

Horrible communication! My husband was admitted and we waited 4 hrs for the nurse on training to do what the doctor ordered after I kept asking! The actual nurse never went in to check on him she kept sending the nurse that was training not knowing if she was doing this right or wrong! I asked Tina the nurse supervisor to send the the person in charge because I had a complaint and she never showed up I called the hospital while I was there some supervisor name Sam answered she was no help I asked for her last name and she refused to give it to me. She told me that the head nurse Lyndsey was off and there was no one to help me!!! This is bad customer service! I will not stop trying to get a hold of someone that I can talk to even if I have to call state!

Yet again worst experience ever. They don’t listen. No one in the ER and still waited an hour. Veterans hospital is so far away for emergency, and I was hoping to get some sort of relief. Nope just another worthless emergency visit. While all your workers sit around and joke like there is nothing to be done. Dirty examination room. Water or spit on the chairs. Sickening. Get your act together and show people you care.

My family has always received awesome care from everyone at Great River.

I wouldn’t refer my worst enemy to Amanda Proczak (Dr. Gausse’s PA) in orthopedics for treatment.
