s a small little Community Hospital, but i have to say.... the service is outstanding!!!!! I really want to thank all the staff for the kind, courteous and compassionate care provided to my mother. She is visiting from out of town and was having an acute medical situation; the staff were amazing! I want to especially thank Dr. Chon, Kim, Ana, Roxanne and the CT Tech!!!!!! My mother is a very hard IV stick and Anna got the IV in the first attempt!!!! Please don't hesitate to visit GEMCH for any medical needs, the service is great!

This hospital is the worst hospital ever. A lot of the nurses are very sassy think they own the hospital and are very rude and disrespectful on the floor when caring for the patients. I am a caregiver of one of the patients and that is no way to treat the patient or the patients family. I already had 2 incidents with this hospital happen and I will personally talk to the board and have one of the doctors medical license revoked and have all nurses and staff to be JCAHO compliant or go through training.
The night time nurse Cecelia is something else the most defiant nurse on the floor that acts like nurse butcher. She needs to be severally reprimanded and should not even be a nurse at this hospita. As many of the doctors and nurses do not communicate and the patients are getting the wrong diagnoses, 25 different medicines being prescribed, not given proper care and things that were meant for someone else. A system needs to be implemented where the patients hospital bracelet be verified and scanned if they are given anything while they are in the hospital to know they are getting stuff meant for them. Also if this hospital does not step up and make major improvements a lawsuit will be filed against this hospital and soon the hospital will be under new ownership.

This is the second time coming here and yes both times they attended me fairly quickly... My issue with the staff this second time here is i was being asked a lot of questions due to prodecure of course but i forgot to mention one thing that's very important and I'm in my room waiting for the doctor to come back and i hear staff who are right outside the door talking about me amongst themselves and laughing. That is very rude and unprofessional.

The hospital waited 6 hours to keep me in the ER. Was supposed to be in a room hours ago. No confidence in their treatment. I walked out! Staff was upset that they could not get more insurance money. I wanted a better facility.

I was brought into the hospital by ambulance and I was very upset and intoxicated . The staff was very rude to the point that I wanted to leave, I got up and started to walk out at which time I was followed out side by a group of Male and female nurses and security who was trying to stop me from leaving. As I walked outside one of the male nurses pushed me so I pushed him back, at which time another Male nurse pushed me and I fell and hit my head while some of them laughed. While waiting for the deputies that they called on me, some of the nurses continued to be verbally abusive . The deputies arrived and took me home. This is a very unprofessional staff. Also I received a $7000.00 bill for service that they say they performed, this was after I refused any treatment which is my right by law. As long as I can speak for myself I will never go back to this hospital and I am not paying the stupid bill !!!
