Poor outpatient experience. I had a radiology procedure scheduled for today and was turned away because the ordering physician had not sent over a prescription for the test. The department had called me yesterday to confirm my appointment and my insurance info and asked me to pay in advance but didn't ask about the required prescription. I am a physician and offered to write my own prescription but was told I couldn't. Poor patient experience. I'll be getting my testing and that for my patients elsewhere.

Best nurses and nurse assistants. So loving, caring and kind. I almost want to go back. :) Just kidding but I had a great hospital stay. Thanks to all, cant remember all the names but Elizabeth, Lorena, thanks for being so nice to me.

I accompanied my son here recently. Front desk staff was professional and courteous. Surprisingly most of the staff we encountered after this point were uncaring and rude. Triage nurse gave curt, mean-spirited directives during intake that bordered on dehumanizing. The PA who gave treatment entered our room with a brusque attitude at first and only softened when I advocated eloquently on my son's behalf. The nurse who administered care applied a stinging ointment with rough and harsh motions, causing my son great pain and never apologized or tried to minimize the pain. It was shocking. It was as if she couldn't imagine the young man was capable of feeling pain. If my son - a 22 year-old biracial man had been alone I believe he would have been demeaned and received marginal care from the moment after he was checked in. There were only a handful of people in the ER and we were seen right away so this was not a harried bunch of practitioners, they were unprofessional, unfriendly and uncaring. New leadership (and staff)? is warranted in this ER.

The ER triage is terrible. When I got called into the office before we got sent to a room. I was at the door and one of the nurses had walked out. The Dr or nurse was rude (her name starts with and “A” cannot remember) didn’t know I was standing behind her and made a comment “oh coughing and shortness of breath at 9 months? Yeah right are you serious?.

Who works in the medical career and treats patients like that?

Then the nurse who opened the door had walked back in snatched the stroller from me and tried to get MY child out after I said to hold on and I’ll do it, and she continued doing it. Never in my life have I felt bad about coming to an ER or a damn hospital also being called a liar. I came one time with my baby and it was a great experience, after today’s visit I don’t know about coming back.

Waited over an hour for emergency care and when I finally got a doctor, she talked to me for 2 seconds before another doctor walked in laughing and told her she needed her for a minute. Kept waiting for treatment. All Fun and games!
