My son was born here in May of 2015. It's been some time, but it was the absolute best experience I have ever had. I have had a second child since at a hospital in Dallas, and it was the worst in comparison. They took care of me and my son. I had all the nurses in my room for delivery. It was a quick labor. The meal and cake afterwards was amazing! I stayed three days and my son 5. I bring my children here whenever I need. I know that they will be taken care of.
Hands Down Best Hospital, from friendliness to cleaniness ... Been here several times from back in 2009 to now the service is amazing . From when you check in from an emergency right away your attended. I can explain how satisfied i feel . They really do take the time to help and CARE for their patients . Once Again i cannot emphasize enough how pleased i am with their Staff and Doctors.Thank you so much !!!!
This “emergency room” is the worst, I took my daughter in with a fever and letgargy ....they have me wait in 1 waiting room , to then called in to wait in a secondary room, then called to be to be triaged, then taken back to the same waiting room ... to then be put In the freaking hallway with a screaming baby ... this is at 3 pm with about 5 ppl in the waiting room, freaking ridiculous.... and the attitude on these nurses treating you like your an idiot because you brought the baby in on a Saturday for fever.... do your dam job, and get rid of the know it all attitude... the only decent care was the nurse practitioner , he treated me with respect and like a freaking human being , if I could’ve rated this my way .... this would’ve gotten -1 ... back in the day when this hospital was the “new” ER. To visit ... costumer service was at its peak, the nurses and staff seemed to really care... fast forward a year and some later.... might as well go to valley Baptist ... at least they’ll have more beds there.
This review is for the ER. I went in to the ER on Saturday the 6 th of October. I had a fever of over 103 for 5 days. They called me back right away. I was asked usual questions but unfortunately my answers really weren't being paid attention to. The first thing the medical assistant says is it's a UTI. I said I'm not here for that kind of problem. I get the room and the prn walks in and says I need a urine sample. He barely listens to my breathing then takes me into the Hall for the sample. I give them one. I had about 2 hours before going in taken Tylenol for the fever and I had to then that. They then brought me two Tylenol to take which would've been to close. He comes back in says it might be a UTI or a bladder infection but most likely just a virus and he sent me home. No blood work nothing. Long story short I was sicker yesterday 10/7 so I went to vbmc. Turns out I have typhus and sepsis from the typhus. It's now 10/8 and I'm still in the hospital . HMC dropped the ball big time
worst visit to the er in my life... the nurse practitioner had a cara de perro!!! didnt get her name but she looked preg and i went at 3:00pm on 9/25 she looked like she was annoyed and didn't care about my pain!! she is the worst told me my pain from a car accident was not an emergancy!!! Never going again knew i should have gone to VB like always never have had problems with that hospital i highly recommend Valley Baptist instead of this bs!!!
