My dad entered St. Thomas Highlands Hospital on a Wednesday. His condition was quite serious. He received kind and compassionate care. The nurses, Paul and Bea, were very attentive and capable. They thoroughly explained everything they were doing. They were promptly available when needed. Dr. Hix helped us make the best decisions regarding Dad's care and he was treated with the utmost respect. We are so grateful for Dad's care at St. Thomas.

Don’t use them!!! Would give a zero if I could. Went in last year for a procedure. The room I was in didn’t even have air-conditioning I had a fan only. The nurse that was working with me scratched himself then put my IV and provided me with medication that could’ve overdosed me because he didn’t even care to look at what the doctor ordered. My daughter was there that was going through a LPN class actually had asked him what he was giving me before I even looked it up. I made a Quality of care complaint a year ago still have no word back. Had my account held until that was resolved as well as the billing issues. They charge me for things that they could not even do because they did not perform the surgery. Turned it over to collection I paid in full, three months ago. Get a new bill in the mail for the same amount for the same procedure that they didn’t do. Called stayed on the line with them for over two hours. Showed them were I paid through email, email several people and still no one responds. Looking at making a state complaint at this point.

Kind staff, got me back to the ER right away, and took great care of me. They caught health problems that I have that Cookeville Regional did not catch.

Had a knee replacement on the 6th of june. Was sent home with knee bleeding and seeping baldy. 2 week recheck found knee to be infected 28th of June had to be reopened and cleansed. Sent home after 1st operation with a horrible measles type rash allover my back. Place is filthy Will never go back
