Highlands Cashiers Hospital

The entire staff was great. Very professional and caring. I highly recommend Sonya as a nurse and Jessica got my IV in on the first stick. They also have the great kind of ice. One of Highlands most under-rated destinations.

I went this evening already had broke thumb the nurse were awesome but dr i saw said we cldnt perscribe to drug addicts n a nushell worse most unprofessinal dr ever seen cant remember his name but i will never go there again oconee is much better went in pain left insulted and still n pain

Wife had major gastro problems we went to emergency room (only weak part of this review) where the doctor wanted to release her with a high pain level and still not able to walk I intervened a bit and had her admitted where she spent the next two nights to recover. The attending Dr was absolutely terrific and the nurses and other staff members treated her with much tender loving care. I would give emergency room 3 star but only because they wanted to release my wife when I knew she was not ready. The hospital itself and staff 5 stars out of 5 for sure

I went in having a miscarriage, after i was there for hours, the doctor finally came into my room to do a papsmir and was making DEAD BABY JOKES WHILE I WAS HAVING A MISCARRIAGE! The nurse was Elizabeth and she was amazing, helpful, and supportive.
