feedback about Hill Country Memorial Hospital Inc
I found the nursing staff as well as my hospitalist, Ed Houser, to be caring, professional and helpful. They were never to busy to answer my questions or to aid me in any way that they could. The respritory therapists were always there when I requested them. Dietary was even most helpful in planning my meals. Ms Gayle is a delight.
No hospital stay is fun or without a glitch here and there, but my team did a great job in just letting me heal.
My wife is now 14 weeks pregnant. Her OBGYN had called the HCM (he works at cornerstone) an had placed an order for her to be treated in the OB department. She’s had the flu for nearly a week. They kept her in the ER for 45 minutes and only gave her IV. HERE OBGYN HAD CALLED AND TOLD THEM TO PUT HER IN A OB ROOM. I don’t know if they just don’t care or if they thought there judgment call was better I don’t know. But she was admitted to Peterson’s hospital and is doing much better. We are Changing OBGYN to Kerrville
I thought I had an amazing experience here until I went to my specialist back in Dallas and she told me there was no way the blood results they gave me were accurate. We’ve been trying unsuccessfully for over a year to have a baby. I went in for X-rays and they took a blood test beforehand just in case. They came back in and told me, my husband and my mom that I was pregnant so they couldn’t do xrays. We were ecstatic! I went to my specialist for bloodwork the following day and she told me there was no way I was pregnant. The levels could not have gone from showing I was pregnant to nothing in a day. Im devastated because we’ve been trying so hard to conceive and they got it so wrong here! They were nice but that’s it. I would not trust them with anyone I love!
I have never had to do a bad review but Dr. Dickey was horrible. I am in serious pain he won't run any tests or anything he said to take ibuprofen, which you can even take when you are pregnant. Then I told him I would just go to Kerrville and as him and the nurse were walking out he called me a freak show. They were so rude to me. I can't believe this is how he treats his patients.
I have to go to kerr and risk my life because the staff at Hill country memorial hospital are absolutely rude and spiteful . They look like they dont even enjoy their job . I over heard front desk lady basically say " if you cant afford to live than just die "
Pretty sorry . They Do not listen to you like they want to help .example .
Patient : I feel tense I feel burning on my right side ....
Doctor : *interrupts sentence *
Like you're constipated and then gives a look as if they are being sarcastic about their remark.
Honestly there is no word to describe these nurses and doctors other than A$$H***$.
No thank you I'd rather risk my life and drive 25 minutes away from the comfort of my own home than sit in the waiting room for an hour mean while charge nurses sit lounge and talk about their Vaca trip . Yall are inconsiderate and STATE REALLY NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS FACILITY !!!!
Thank you Google for allowing my review because I wanna let other know unfortunately yall aren't the only ones who get treated like your life or health doesnt matter .
Another thing from what I saw . I've seen. People who take out their wallets at front desk usually get treated much properly . So yeah I have absolutely nothing good to say other than a very money hungry hospital . Pretty sure they have a few on drugs.
