feedback about Hillcrest Hospital Claremore
You dont get to see a doctor just a nurse practitioner and been here for three hours and they have left a veteran in a bed in the hallway the whole time with nurses and doctors just walk by and wont even look at him and he is screaming at them trying to get their attention but nothing this place makes me sick.
I was treated in the ER this week, the staff were wonderful at easing my nerves despite the amount of pain I was experiencing. Specifically, Tama Dudley NP has a very calming presence and it was easy to tell her what was going on and trust she was going to take care of my issues. Nurses Felicia and Robin were most likely angels in disguise, Felicia gave a seemingly painless IV, she put most IV techs/phlebotomists to shame. Honorable mention goes out to the phlebotomists who gave excellent morale support, radiology department staff, transportation tech, and front desk staff who were very friendly during all of my interactions with them.
I was unable to leave five stars because the bathrooms in both the waiting area and patient room were not as clean as I would have expected in a hospital. This is likely easily remedied:
1. Toliet seat covers
2. A plastic/metal table or side cabinet or shelf in the waiting area bathroom near the toilet to place specimen containers.
3. TWO clothing hooks in the waiting room bathroom. One in the patient bathroom (one for a purse and one for a sweater; I hung my belongings by the door hinge!)
4. A small shelf in the patient bathroom for specimen containers.
4. Scheduled hourly cleanings, 30 minutes during heavy traffic with an initial sheet on the door.
With all of that said I really appreciate all the kind and thoughtful care I was given at Hillcrest Emergency Room in Claremore this week, Thank you!
I took my grandson to Hillcrest middle of night due to high fever. The receptionist, nurse, and doc on call were so friendly and efficient. They began treatment right away before his Dad got here from out of state. I was extremely pleased with their attentiveness and professionalism.
This place almost took my daughter's life. They have no clue as to what they are doing. I will never go back there. My daughter had to be life flighted to saint Francis in Tulsa due to there terrible staff rns and doctors. She was in nicu for 5 days and even the doctors there said they always have "train wrecks" from there please never take a loved one there.
The staff at this 'hospital' have no understanding of empathy, patient privacy, cleanliness, respect, accountability, effective care. The doctors, Beeson specifically, is completely incompetent for lack of a better word, as are the rest of the staff. I've come in here as have my child and husband many times only to walk out with a ridiculous bill but no proper treatment. I don't know how this hospital went from Claremore Regional to Hillcrest but the 'medical center' part went out the window along with their reputation. I will never step foot in this hospital or Bailey Medical in Owasso, which is also affiliated with Hellcrest.
