I’ve never been treated so poorly by a hospital. I had to be transferred here and I wish they would have taken me somewhere else. The doctor never came and checked on me after surgery, my nurse could never be found and I had to remind them to give me my medication. And when I asked for it I was told “well you look just fine”. You’re better off risking driving an extra 20 minutes to another hospital than to be seen here. (I will say the nurses and doctor I had in the ER were very nice and attentive and they would be give 5 stars, but the majority of my experience was even below a 1 star)

Unfortunately I have had to go to the emergency room 3 times in the past 6 months. I fainted twice and felt like I was about to pass out on one of my visits there. The 1st doctor I saw on my initial trip the the ER was very kind, he explained what he thought caused the issue and answered questions. My second and third time I had the same doctor. She was short with me and condescending. I have gone in 3 times for the same issue and have received 3 different reasons for my 1 ongoing issue. I am very proactive and have been trying to do my own research. When I tried the ask the doctor if what I found could be my issue or related to my issue, I was promptly cut off an dismissed. I hope this problem doesnt continue but of it does I will not be returning here.

The nurses were so kind and understanding. My brother received excellent care during his stay there.

I’ve gone in to the women’s center a total of three times. The first time I went, I complained of stomach and back pain at about 25 weeks pregnant. I was seen by a nurse named Etta. She hooked me up to the machines to be monitored and took a urine sample. After about an hour, she came back and said that where I was feeling pain was not where labor pain would be and that it is most likely a kidney stone. I was sent home and told to drink more water. I had a doctors appointment shortly after and my OB said that it was highly unlikely I had a kidney stone. That in itself was weird. The second time I was admitted, I was 30 weeks and I was having pain in the same place as the first time I was seen. The nurse was a super sweet, amazing women that listened to me and confirmed I was having contractions. I was admitted that night and told I was dilated to a one already. They told me to take it easy and try not to do anything to bring on early labor as I’ve already had preterm contractions. Went in for the third time today for more contraction-like pain and was placed with the nurse from the first time, Etta. Again, I was having pain in the same place as the previous times. I was told that it wasn’t labor pain, that that’s not where labor pain would even be (even though last time it was confirmed contractions). She said I was not having contractions, but it was just the baby growing. Sent me home with nothing but “drink water”. The only reason I gave one star is for the sweet nurse I dealt with the second time I was seen. Etta made me feel very unheard and blown off, especially as a first time mom. I dread going back during the day for any pain just because I don’t want to feel like my concerns aren’t being heard by her. She was very dismissive and acted like she didn’t believe me at all. I hope that when the time comes and I am actually in labor, I don’t have to deal with her because I don’t think she would take me seriously enough.

I recently went to ER then ICU. The hospital staff, doctors and nurses were attentive and excellent. Very nice people.
