I was seen there yesterday for lower back pain, the pain was awful, I couldn't sit or stand for short periods of time. Never seen by an actual doctor, but instead, a nurse practitioner. Xrays were done, and I don't even know the results of my Xrays. To me that's poor patient care. And here it is, the next morning, and I'm having the same awful pain. Just because I don't have private insurance, doesn't qualify a doctor or nurse practitioner to treat me any different. My tax dollars pay for Medicaid and Medicare, I deserve the same quality of care. Also I went to my follow-up visit with my new primary care provider and was informed that I have a cracked disc, an important piece of detail that some imcompedent nurse practitioner failed to share with me. Her name is Melissa Ann Simpson. My opinion of her is very less than good. Today, Wednesday, April 11th, I received a letter. After reading it, I'm not at all satisfied with the end result. After the nurse practitioner who treated me 2 weeks ago, and reviewed by a panel of peers, they have informed me that they found nothing. Not only was Melissa Ann Simpson wrong, but now the so called panel of peers is worse, they condoned incompetence. Now I see why people have nothing good to say about the emergency room department.
