My Archibald memorial hospital Dr just Informed me they were shutting his office down and they don’t have anyone to take over for him. All of my prescriptions run through him and I must have them. They have left me high and dry.I am severely disappointed. I will have to go to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital emergency room to get my medication.

HUGE thank you to every single person at Archbold Memorial In Thomasville! I’ve never encountered such an amazing set of staff anywhere else. I’ve not met one person I didn’t love here. From intake, nurses, surgical team, doctors, services, case management, cleaning crew.. absolutely every one of them here has been more than happy to help my husband and I make the transition into parenthood effortless. The drive here is 100% worth it and would do this over again. I have everything I need, my questions are answered thoroughly, and we are comfortable! Easily the best stay I’ve ever had.

Only giving one star because i have to in order to post. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ACTUALLY VALUE YOUR LIFE AND HEALTH. I went to the ER in extreme pain, i hadn't eaten in days, and couldnt stop throwing up because the pain was so bad & they just sent me home TWO times in three days. I was there for 6pm-1am the first day & from 9am-3pm the next & the only test they did was a ct scan. They wouldn't tell me much of anything and did NOT call an obgyn either time like they are supposed to do. When i finally was able to get to an obgyn, she took one look at the reports from the ER & told me i had some very serious health issues. Both of which needed immediate attention & could have caused me to loose my ability to have children one day. And because they didnt tell me what was going on, that may still be at risk. The first time i came to this hospital, i was having a miscarriage & bleeding profusely & was in severe pain. They made me wait hours before giving me anything for the pain or calling the obgyn despite the fact that the whole room was covered in my blood(tmi). I ended up going into shock and they acted like i had just slammed my finger in a door... It was no big deal to them. Like i said, go somewhere else if you must visit an er. You are risking so much by going here.

I was seen there yesterday for lower back pain, the pain was awful, I couldn't sit or stand for short periods of time. Never seen by an actual doctor, but instead, a nurse practitioner. Xrays were done, and I don't even know the results of my Xrays. To me that's poor patient care. And here it is, the next morning, and I'm having the same awful pain. Just because I don't have private insurance, doesn't qualify a doctor or nurse practitioner to treat me any different. My tax dollars pay for Medicaid and Medicare, I deserve the same quality of care. Also I went to my follow-up visit with my new primary care provider and was informed that I have a cracked disc, an important piece of detail that some imcompedent nurse practitioner failed to share with me. Her name is Melissa Ann Simpson. My opinion of her is very less than good. Today, Wednesday, April 11th, I received a letter. After reading it, I'm not at all satisfied with the end result. After the nurse practitioner who treated me 2 weeks ago, and reviewed by a panel of peers, they have informed me that they found nothing. Not only was Melissa Ann Simpson wrong, but now the so called panel of peers is worse, they condoned incompetence. Now I see why people have nothing good to say about the emergency room department.
