Johnson County Community Hospital

My husband and I were recently visiting Mountain City from NY when my husband became ill. We went to Johnson County Community Hospital. The wait was less then 5 minutes and the care was excellent. The Doctors were great and the Nurses were outstanding. We couldn't have been more pleased with this facility.

I've been here a few times. Nice and attentive staff but this hospital is very limited to the point that it's almost scary.

Beware! Beware! Beware! Dr. Denhan is the rudest and crudest person I have met in my 64 years. He should not be allowed to go near any living thing. If a better doctor can't be found this place should be closed immediately. I give Dr. Denhan a rating of negative 0.

My mother came in with a terrible cough, feeling horrible, the so called Doctor told her it was viral and sent her home with nothing..no chest x-ray, no flu swab, no offer of Neb treatment, and sent home with nothing for cough, congestion and she also needed an antibiotic... that she got 5 days later from her regular Doctor and guess what, it cleared it all up..so JCCH charged moms insurance a whopping huge bill for doing absolutely nothing!!! Need to just close the place down if they don't care about people anymore than that!!!!

Took a family member in for High blood pressure and panic attack. Wait was not long. Staff polite and helpful. Doctor knowledgeable and concerned and made sure the patient was stable and wrote out scripts to help. Thank you for being there.
