Hurt at work so I came in with 3 bulging disc and siatica pain and Dr.Knox call me a faker and that I could walk fine and didn't require medical help...since I must be looking for pain meds bc of my younger age... Glad I got a second opinion at the medical group on the other side of town... Same day!

The staff are professional and pleasant. I have always had a good experience when at this hospital.

I gave JRMC (Johnson not Jefferson) a 5 because it deserves solid 4s or 4+ in every area. That is hard to achieve. When you are talking something as subjective as health care ratings can very wildly. I am an excellent evaluator in this case because I have experienced JRMC as a patient for routine annual medical care, tests ordered by a doctor for diagnostic purposes, specialty clinics to save drive time, ER on several occasions and multiple surgeries, outpatient physical and occupational therapies for myself plus In patient Rehab, Medical stays, Senior Care, ICU and Labor and Delivery as a caregiver or friend of a patient. I was employed there for 12 years and have been a member of the Hosial Auxialiary for 18. Being "small town" does not mean antiquated or less than top class. It does mean staff that cares. This is their home and these are their friends, if not when they arrive they will be in the future. In addition to the medical I ge you to check out the dining room for lunch (there is a salad bar and since you are picking it up yourself, the warm food is warm), notice how clean everywhere is, stop in art the gift shop with great prices and surprising offerings. There is also an honor library with the vending machines in case you find you want some quiet reading because we do not offer Calgon to take you away. If you live locally, I recommend considering going the Auxially. The more you know about JRMC the better you will feel bringing your loved ones in for care.

Went in with a concern of a bite possible a spider. My arm is sweld up 3x the size of my elbolw. She came in left my arm. Said nothing to me as to what it maybe. She spent a whole 30sec in the room. Left 30 min later a nurse came in with a cream RX said use this if it gets worst go to my doctor. So what did I just pay you for? Now its sweld up dripping clear stuff. Ain't got a clue to what it maybe but I will not go back there to feel like I'm a idiot because I'm worried as to why my arm is like a ball setting on my arm. Never will I use them again.
