Took my wife to the emergency due to severe cramps and bleeding last night around 1 AM. The clerk checked us in and then the nurse followed up and checked her vitals. Then they requested blood test since my wife is pregnant. They took out 5 tubes of blood and then said to wait in the waiting room. My wife had not had anything to eat or drink since 6pm the day prior. I requested some water for my wife and I was refused. After waiting for half an hour, a lab tech came again and took out another then of blood since 5 wasn't enough. Then we were sent out to the lobby to wait again. See waited for another hour and still had not heard anything from any doctor. It was 3AM and my wife was having severe pain 10/10 yet no attention was given. My wife could not take being in the uncomfortable chairs and not being able to even rest so we left at 3AM. When I told the clerk he didn't even explain to me that I should stay or if the doctor would see us. He just made us sign paperwork when he didn't explain to us. We had such a horrible experience at this Kaiser facility. Previously, we went to San Joaquin General Hospital and they actually were prompt in taking care of us. Now that I have Kaiser insurance through my work I thought we would receive better care then when we were on Medical. I was wrong.
