Some of there family Medicine doctors are worthless at helping you! Ive gone to appointments and left irritated at the fact that I’m not being heard and go home with a diagnosis that i could have made up on my own! The most recent doctor I had an appointment with is Dr. A. Madaj who is a completely arrogant person! His personality comes off as this know it all jerk like person.

Got the lab tests we needed done with no wait. Staff is friendly and competent. However, the hospital cafeteria has very inferior vegan options. Cafeteria is open until 7 pm. Hospital is, of course, 24 hours.

The pharmacy at MOB 1 has repeatedly messed up my son's medications. They have repeatedly misread doctors' directions by confusing the volume for the number of refills; they have misfiled his prescription, so it took 5 minutes just to find it; they have repeatedly forced me to wait to talk to a pharmacist about a "new" prescription that we've had for over a year; just today they have told us to pick up a prescription only for us to find out they cancelled ALL of his prescriptions for no reason. We have talked to numerous staff including the manager to fix these problems. We have had our son's doctors and specialists and their staffs talk to them on our behalf, including the head of pediatrics in SF. Things have only managed to get worse. We have made a formal complaint, but knowing Kaiser, we'll get a response in writing from someone who didn't take the time to fully read, understand, or investigate the issue. EDIT: Just came in to get another prescription only to find that someone did not refrigerate it. They had to compound it again and told me to wait. I went for a walk and saw my son's name on thr board, which I assumed meant it was ready. It wasn't. More waiting. Every. Single. Thing. They manage to mess up, it's amazing.

As a security guard employee the patients would say racist things to me and staff just laughed, I as a combat veteran was told to go back to some south American nation and the emergency department staff just laughed. Keep this in mind when you seek medical care.

I have only positive experiences with this hospital. High quality staff and really healrhy, good food at the food center. Unheard of good food at a hospital. We'll run and great staff!
