They caught something all the other doctors had missed, for months. Not good news but they have been professional, kind and communicative. They are in constantly checking and adjusting things and I think they saved my dad's life. The Dr. Martins and the nurse Daniel stood out but the whole staff was on top of their game. I am so thankful for them.

Two weeks ago, while windsurfing on Lake Isabella, in what I view as a freak accident, I lacerated my hand on the trailing edge of the fin. Seeing me bleeding profusely, the local sailors directed me to Mountain Mesa Emergency with assurances I’d find help even though it was nearly 7 PM in the evening. Sure enough, in due time, six stitches closed up the wound in a manner subsequently described as “neatly done” by my regular Los Angeles based physician. Mountain Mesa Emergency is to be praised for the professional manner in which my injury was treated. They acknowledged, without a hassle, that my Kaiser Permanente Membership would undoubtedly ultimately pay for the nearly all of the cost associated with their emergency room services.. My wait for medical treatment was not short, but not unreasonable. I might not have enjoyed sitting in the waiting room for an hour, but I was very happy knowing that the situation would soon be under control. I saw myself as being very fortunate to be able to obtain quality medical service in this sparsely populated area at least an hour’s drive east of Bakersfield. .

I love this place because it is my grandparents house and I love them with all my heart.
