I came into the ER with severe chest, back, and abdominal pain. The nurse that was working at 3PM on the 28th of October was extremely rude. While doing the EKG, I was trying my best to stay still. I was in so much pain and kind of shaky, she yelled at me numerous times to stay still. I apologized and did all I could not to move, she even yelled at me to uncross my legs, which weren’t even crossed. My grandmother was with me and was appalled at the way the nurse treated me. I was then left in the room for an hour in extreme pain. Finally she came in and angrily stuck me in the shoulder with a shot of Toradol. Didn’t say a word, put a bandage on me, and walked out. I layed there for another 35 minutes still in pain. I buzzed for the nurse to come back, and I explained that I was still really hurting. She proceeded to tell me there was nothing else they could do for me, and I could leave if I wanted to. So, I started to get dressed as she watched me struggle with that holding a clip board for me to sign. She wouldn’t help me do anything, and the paper I signed was refusal of treatment. Which, I believe I was refused treatment was never even given anything for nausea. If your a nurse, or the nurse I’m referring to...and you don’t like your career, you shouldn’t take it out on sick or patients that are in pain. Thank you to all the nurses out there that show compassion for others. I could barely walk on my way out of there. No urine test or labs done in the whole time.
My mother was admitted Sept 19th 2018. She was completely disabled. Unable to feed self etc. In need of high cares. Her call button was left out of reach. Nursing refused to feed her, undressed and left like that, screamed at her etc. I witnessed some of these atrocities. My mother was discharged a week later still with pneumonia and unknown to me septic. She was back there less than 36 hrs later being intubated and transferred in septic shock. October 12th at 7:15 pm my mother left this earth. On her phone I found the videos of the treatment she recieved while in your care. Maybe I should be sending you the funeral bill...
Pediatricians and nursing staff are very attentive and thorough with both of my children. Son had surgery with urology and it went very well. I had my youngest son in this hospital as well and staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. Beautiful facility. Just what our small-town area needed.
Went in for bleeding ear and severe pain. Waited well over an hour to get into a room then another hour to be seen.
Nothing for pain, no antibiotics, NO EMPATHY. and sent home telling me it was “trauma related” and would heal. In fact the ER diagnosis from Dr Wolfe was a neck injury with a small side bar regarding my ear!
A week later I have a major ear infection and pain. THIS HOSPITAL and physician FAILED MISERABLY!!!
We have only been to the emergency room twice and both times were unsatisfactory. The first time I was there with severe abdominal pain. Within 5 minutes of seeing me and before performing any tests, the physician said I had to have surgery. THEN performed some testing and decided no surgery was necessary and sent me home with some pills saying he wasn't sure what was wrong! In the meantime my husband sat in the waiting room for over 3 hours with no one updating him. The second time I went with sharp pain in my arthritic shoulder looking for a cortisone shot. People came and left while we sat in the waiting room for over an hour. We reminded the receptionist that we were there after which another patient came and was seen! We left and will never return!
