I love the Staff in ICU, the nurses and staff are all so great! My grandma has been there for almost a week. And I just love them! So helpful, and nice. Great people!

Do not go here. Went in last night. They said I had phenomena. Night doctor asked me to stay over night so they could watch over me and have the Cardiologist check me in the morning because of my heart history. I said that was fine but I had no one to watch my daughter past 12:30 today. Cardiologist came in early and cleared me said it was not my heart just pneumonia. Explain to the daytime Dr. Needed get home for my daughter Could you please release me he said no I could only AMA without any medication for an of my pneumonia. So my choice was to leave my daughter alone or spend another night to be able to get medicine to cure my pneumonia well as I’m sure as all good parents would know I had to leave to take care of my daughter. This hospital is all about the money it is all they care about.

My first advice is always a healthy lifestyle eating a plant-based diet with "food as the medicine." However, when the hopefully rare need arises for medical care, Baylor, Scott & White Medical Center in Lakeway Texas is committed to healthcare excellence and patient confidence.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center is one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems in Texas as well as in the United States. They have an excellent history of receiving numerous local and national recognitions for healthcare excellence.

My wife and I were on vacation on Lake Travis and my 13 month old decided to try and climb the bar stool and tipped over on to his head. For the next 24 hrs my son continued to projectile vomit. The longest we could go was an hour between episodes. Our worry began when he became quite lethargic and sleepy. So we took him in to the ER. We were greeted prompt, taken back just as promptly. The ER nurse from the beginning was very nice and attentive. The ER DR was quickly in the room to assess our sons condition and recommended a head CT. I was shocked at how quickly radiology was there to pick him up. They even allowed me to be in the room while the procedure was performed, which I was Extremely grateful for being able to be there to console my son. I have read many horrible and negative reviews on here. From my point of view I was very pleased with the care in which we received. I would love to post the names of each individual who cared for my son, but protecting them is important too. This review is as of the date seen in the ER. It truly is a beautiful hospital. I wish we had a place like this in our home town. I have not been billed of course or dealt with anything on that scale but if I see or have any updates regarding billing issues I will update this post.

BILLING UPDATE: We have now received our billing and have had no issues at all with billing and insurance. To add to this I am a medical provider and was very impressed with the professionalism. Never once did I ever mention who I was OR what I do for a living in the medical field. I truly wanted to see what level of care my son and I would receive. Great place!!! I stay with my 5 Star rating!!!!! 👍

Dont ever go here if you dont have insurance because the staff will treat you like dirt they discriminate.I have been there twice both times horrible experience the last time I went i was in a car accident brought in by ambulance nurse made me get up and walk to bathroom without xrays and without being seen by doctor. I was in tears! then I could hear nurses talking about me in unprofessional
manner it echoed through the halls this was at 11pm so you could hear everything I mean everything very unprofessional place. If I would of had insurance I bet
this would have not happened.
