I dislocated my shoulder. It took 10 minutes to put it back in place. Room $1,700, hospital charge for dislocated shoulder $1,100, Doctors charge $1,400 for a grand total of $4,100. The staff seemed stressed and over worked. I requested an itemized bill on the phone and by registered mail. They would not give an itemized billed, even though I believe they are required to by Federal law. I did not do any X-rays or drugs. After my shoulder was back in the socket and I told them I was not going to have an X-Ray or any other services the staff evaporated within 30 seconds. Once the money train was over, no discussion of after care, no one even pointed the direction out of the hospital. All I got was, "Sign here" then they all vanished.
Delivering my baby here was awesome! The nurses are really kind and knowledgeable. The food is pretty good for hospital food. Also, you get to stay in the same room the whole 48 hours instead of having to change to multiple rooms. During labor, they help you with different comfort techniques, like a tub, shower, birth ball, and birthing bar. It made everything so much better to know that they were patient and not trying to rush my delivery.
I really have to say I was so impressed with the radiology department. I needed to get an appointment as soon as possible. No other place would take me. Finally I called Landmark as a last resort. The receptionist put me through to the manager and I explained the situation to her. She took it upon herself to call me back and get me in. When I arrived the first girls I saw was the receptionist. They were smiling, happy and friendly it made me feel really good inside to have that fist impression. The manager came out and took the time to speak with me and again very nice personality and pleasant to deal with. I sat down for a little while and was called in and again the technician was understanding and very pleasant. The Radiologist found something and I had to make another appointment to go back. Again same professionalism as before and they had me laughing. As nervous as I was, they lifted my spirits. The technician who did my second test spoke to me the whole way though and we had some laughs. I also have to add I never met the Radiologist but thumbs up to you. Even though I never met you thank you for showing your concern and making sure I get all the proper test done. I have to go back for an MRI and waiting for an appointment. All I have to say is goodbye RI Medical Imaging. Thank you Landmark for a great experience with the Radiology Department. You now have a continuing happy patient. The only other thing that I do have to mention is the Hospital does need to be updated and cleaned. That is the only downfall. Thank you,
My family is grateful for the excellent & attentive care in the ED and on the medical floor. In particular, the vigilance of the ED staff ensured that what, at first glance, appeared to be a common ailment was actually cause for admission and the responsive care of the unit staff ensured a steady recovery. All hospital employees were warm and hospitable and truly understand the needs of family during times of illness.
No need to wonder why this hospitals reputation is as bad as they come. I was there not to long ago. My horror story about this dump is lengthy and gut wrenching. I choose to share only my take on the criminal act that was perpetrated against me at Landmark hospital. So incompetent and well downright evil. I will never forget what I observed or endured. Perhaps they are employing drug addicts and criminals I do not know who is working in HR but they should be fired . Vile place, if you go here you will be risking your life or the chance of getting much sicker! I had to seek out a therapist just to deal with what they did to me! SHUT this rat hole down
