I was taken to Lane after giving birth at home. Other than it taking multiple nurses to draw blood from my newborn and being rough, I had a lovely experience. I have a picture of the nurse who finally successfully and carefully drew blood from my poor baby's feet. I wish I could remember her name.

Wife and I went in for annual wellness visits and received a little over $160 in extra charges as "additional diagnosis." It wasn't even that clear, however. It was later I found out this was for answering the doctors questions and getting a phone number and a suggestion. It took 11 months of countless calls and letters inquiring what the charges were for. Then, after they apologized and said they reversed the incorrectly applied charges, they sent it to collections. Unreal. 1 star for suspicious charges, lack of timely response, not abiding by their word, terrible and completely unclear invoices, and just general poor business practices. The nurses were very nice, so they are responsible for the lone star. Never has a wellness visit been so painful.

Kristen is the sweetest nurse ever I’ll never forget my experience with having her as my nurse! Thank you for your kindness today!

I was at the ER about two weeks ago. I immediately realized the administrative staff had changed. It was a terrible experience for me. I honestly hope and pray I will never have to be treated there again. I have used this hospital since it opened in the 60's. Never have I received such bad treatment. I left the hospital feeling like I was the most unimportant patient they have ever treated. The staff was horrible. It started with the security staff that spoke to me in a very unprofessional manner. That pretty much set the tone for the entire visit there.

I'm in Nola by daughter there. I've drive back n fourth since Monday approximately 750-800 miles with a lot of pain. I've been rear ended twice recently since driving for Uber. I got my MRI results today. 5 herniated disc 3 neck , 2 back & an exposed root of a nerve .I think my daughter getting discharged tomorrow. I spoke with my daughter at 12:30 today I've called several times & can't get through. The nurse doesn't call back ever! The social worker didn't call back with a narrowed down time for discharge tomorrow. I thought I'd drive in tonight stay at a friend's so I won't have to do 5-6 hours of driving tomorrow. WTH is up with these ppl!! Wanted to get her transferred home so I could be there to make sure she was getting taken care of but that seemed to be only with AMA!! Please stop playing God! This is my daughter not yours. She has not eaten either. She has asked for yogurt or fruit but got none. She just found out tonight they have fruit juice on her fkoir. There only 2 floors. Give the girl some juice. We've asked about a nicotine patch no response .Tomorrow I'm going to call administration & Medicaid to let them know how her care has gone. Why would professional ppl act this way? I'd like to know. But God bless & good luck if u have to go to this 2 floor 130 bed hospital!
