What actions have they done to better patients experiences? Nothing. Don't waste your time and money. Let the reviews speaks for its self. They are not joking when they said, " it's a teaching hospital." If you want experienced and quality care, avoid this hospital.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVE ONE TO THIS PLACE .
If you really care about the person need help and get better, DO NOT take them to this place. I can say they are kind of criminal who are backing each other up .they easily lie, gossiping behind patients and their families. They are not willing to help.
They just wanna get rid of patients as soon as possible . I took my love one to this place (I even can't call this place Hospital, because 3rd world countries hospital they treat you much better than this place and give you much more service than this place.) She was not able to go to the bathroom and shower. After she asked for help to go to the bathroom, some one came and tossed the bed pan and sheet and told her I can't do it, you have to do it with yourself . She has a broken ankle and broken shoulder. She changed the sheet and clean up .after I showed up I saw she was in pain and meanwhile she has a 45 min bed pan under herself, nobody helped her after she ask for help. She wounded badly ,but guess what? Nobody cared about her. There is a lot more I can't write it here. For writing a review I must pick the star, and unfortunately there is no negative star - - - - -🌟 ,if there was ,I would love to give - - - - -🌟.
JUST DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE.

I was a patient at Largo Medical for six days and from the moment I came through the ER, and then was admitted with double pneumonia, I was treated with the best care I could ask for. Everyone-and I do mean everyone, from the people who brought my meals, to the techs that drew my blood and took my vitals- were kind and always pleasant. And my nurses- they were the absolute BEST!! Kinder, more professional people cannot be found anywhere. I was always kept informed about my progress and what I could expect to happen, and always with a pleasant attitude. I hope I don't have to be hospitalized again any time soon but if in the future I do, I hope I will be taken to Largo Medical. The nursing staff is second to none. Thank you.

The ER and then staff on the 4th Floor took great care of our loved one. Very nice, considerate, well trained and patient staff people offering help every step of the way, w/ clients who were under great stress. RNs, Aides, radiology & more could not have been better. Plus everyplace we went the facility is spotless!

5 stars to Dr. Osman-Mohamed
Dr. Osman-Mohamed has shown us a high level of professionalism since our first meeting with him, throughout the transplant and follow-up process. The aptitude and passion with which Dr. Mohamed executes his work makes him unique. Definitely his expertise should be exposed and expanded to another level where other surgeons specializing in organ transplant could benefit from his remarkable knowledge.
As a human being, Dr. Mohamed is compassionate, listens patiently and understands the emotional process through which the patient and his family go through. I exhort each individual working IN THE HOSPITAL, nurses and allied staff to emulate his professionalism and dedication to help make this hospital one of the best in the nation. Keep in mind; COMPASSIONATE AND DILIGENT PATIENT CARE is vital and very important after a surgery and the patient and Dr. Mohamed deserve that care and support.
Dr. Mohamed and his working team IN THE OFFICE made a difference in our overall experience. We thank you and bless you for all you have done for out daughter.
We love you very much and we wish you much success in your professional and personal life.

Brenda & family
