This VA is one of the most unprofessional, unproductive, and disorganized facilities that I have ever been to. Every single department that I entered, the staff acted as if the patients were nothing but nuisances. This facility is full of staff that have “slipped through cracks.” When I showed up all of my information was incorrect, despite faxing it numerous times over the past ten years.
In addition, the VA scheduled me for appointments not connected to anything that I wanted to be seen for. I was informed by a fellow VA employee and fellow veteran that they are consistently dropping the ball when it comes to scheduling appointments. He further reiterated this VA is a mess. I completely agree with his assessment. I really thought the VA was making progress in addressing the needs of veterans; clearly, this VA is not one of them and the staff just wants to do the bare minimum in an effort to keep their jobs.

Very caring and professional people. Make you feel like you are their number one priority. Would highly recommend this facility to all veterans.

I get a new PA every 2 year and every 2 years I get a new diagnosis which restarts the checklist of what I “need to do” to get pain free and a battery of the same old tests and procedures only for them to say “there’s nothing more the VA can do for you” and then I sit and wait until the next worthless PA is assigned. I finally got a PhD Doctor who thinks he knows what’s wrong and the VA keeps refusing the treatment because they don’t provide it and I need outside care. Way to care for THIS veteran. 10 years and they can’t figure out why I’m in pain. I went to Hershey Med and their doctor figured it out in 1 visit but the VA won’t recognize their diagnosis.

So I got connected to a nurse name Jen who was very Rude and not understanding prior to seeing her the prior day. (Also wasn’t a good experience).I asked simply to talk to the doctor that’s available, like I was told to do by the operator. Instead she feel in fact that she is a doctor had an attitude hung up on me and now I can’t get in contact with any of the numbers listed on this site. The message is saying the er number has been changed or no longer in service. How is this exceptable?

Third time here. From my observation,Veterans receive better care than I have seen in the public sector. This time we were in the Dermatology section and the exam I witnessed was extremely extensive and thorough. She explained everything she was doing and froze quite a few areas. She was very professional and took her time. On
a previous visit,I was impressed with the speed with which we had our pre appointment for a colonoscopy. Met with doctor. Had EKG and chest x-ray at same time. No appointment needed for these two tests. Doctor took his time with us...very thorough. This VA Center very clean, staff friendly...our Veterans deserve a place like this.
