I wish I had the option of negative stars! Billing NIGHTMARE! Issue has been going on for over a year! I get a bill every month and every month I call both Lewis Gale and Anthem. Lewis Gale bills with an incorrect code and Anthem rejects the claim because of the coding. This goes on and on and on and on..... Nobody thinks to ask WHY this keeps happening until I step in...do the research myself, only to find out that the doctor submitted the incorrect code to the hospital and now the doctor has moved on, out of the area, and his practice has been sold. So the doctor can't correct the code. I have to talk with a different person EVERY time I call both the hospital and insurance company and they all keep promising that they're working on it, and that it will be put on hold and that my credit won't be effected. I find out that not only has it not been taken care of but they HAVE reported it to the credit bureaus. Lewis Gale tells me "it's not our fault"....well guess who else's fault it is NOT???? They tell me, just pay the bill and we'll work on it...RIGHT!! Like there will be MORE motivation to work on it once the bill is paid. HAHA I feel sorry for the people that aren't, or can't be, persistent about these things because I guess they just get screwed in the process....by doing what the hospital wants.....juuuuust pay it....we'll take care of the rest. Right.
