I had went to ER on 9/24 for myself due to bad headaches and chronic back pain. Nurse was really nice and Doctor had really good bedside manners. I was pleased. I was concerned with all the negative reviews but I had a good experience. Everyone was friendly. The security guards, the Registering lady and all the nurses. You have to be kind and know they deal with a lot of people and some patients aren’t so nice. I will be using them again if need be. Thank you!

I was not a fan of the WBORO hosp since my Father was there for an emergency a few years back and the floors were muddy and the gurnies had blood on them and we were told that "they ran out" of pillows to rest my father's head on. A need for a procedure asap led me to this hospital recently. A day before I was scheduled I got a call from the hospital confirming my copay to be X and wanting me to confirm that yes I was able to pay it I would have the payment with me when I came to my appointment. I have never not had any payment or copay for any Dr. Appt, never had any Dr or hospital call me to confirm I would have their money when I came to them. It was patronizing, insulting, and I can't believe anyone would make it so obvious that their focus is making sure they get their money as opposed to providing care.

Security Supervisor Crenshaw gave no customer service and is a poor example of leadership. After waving and knocking at the front door after hours the security guard at the front desk did not move. I was directed to the ER by a nurse. (The sign with the information was not near the front door but instead close to the elevators and security desk) I ask to speak to the supervisor only to find out he was the one at the front desk. After he walked away from me without a hello or handshake or any type of professionalism he sits back down behind the ER security desk. All in front of 5 or 6 other security guards whom were standing. I proceeded to tell him the situation and its bad customer service, there are patients and families that need help. He said "save your lecture for someone else" "I told one of the guys to walk you where you need to go" In my attempt to discuss the situation and how to improve for next time he further dismissed me by saying "Man, go be with your family". The other guards were acting like they were afraid of the supervisor. With people like Security Supervisor Crenshaw as the first line of interaction and leadership it is clear to see why there are so many 1 star reviews.
