What happened to this place, they used to have nurses and staff that did everything to make a patients stay calming and not stressful. Whoever Jackie is, she needs to be re-trained and until she learns how to treat people respectfully, removed as a night supervisor. She talks to the families of patients like they're trash, she will insult you, and will talk over you to make it a point to not allow you to speak. She refuses to listen to anything except her own voice. I've NEVER been insulted so bad by anyone at this facility. The dispatch team was fantastic 5 stars, the security officer was very professional and helpful 5 stars. Jackie truly made this simple situation a terrible experience.
P.S. don't ever make any rhetorical statements. This hospital has a policy to make you feel like a prisoner and you lose any and all privacy. As I was notified by a nurse last night, it is the hospital's POLICY to take ALL of your possessions, even your hospital gown, and make you wear a paper smock. In their view it's for "the patients safety" even if they know for a fact the patient is actually of no harm to themself or anyone around them. If the patient contacts a family member or significant other with a mobile device, that gets confiscated and turned off so the patient can ONLY speak with you if you call in and they actually allow you to talk to them.
Anyone that isn't sadistic would know this isn't how you treat a human being that's in a hospital to get help.
