Mary Washington Hospital

My grandma fell down the stairs at my family’s house so we rushed her to Mary Washington Hospital because it was the closest hospital. When they got there they got in relatively fast (she is diabetic so they had to take her to a room almost immediately) they did a bunch of tests and sent her on her way and said that she has a fractured wrist and that her ribs her fine (she had a lot of pain in her ribs when she got there). A few days go by and my grandma flies back to California where she lives and goes to the doctor again because she is still in pain... and be find out that her wrist was 100% fine, and that she had THREE BROKEN RIBS!!! Mary Washington said her ribs were fine! I don’t trust them

Wonderful staff. Came in with a bad appendix and they had me through a cat scan and into surgery within 3 hours. Was taken very good care of. Overnight floor was pretty quiet and the room was comfortable and very clean. Food wasn't bad either. Thankful that we have this fine hospital in our area.

So Inhave been to MWH many time. This was the first good one. The doctor was helpful. The CT tech was very kind and explained everything that was gonna happen and was concerned with my well being. BUT the star of the show was Sheila. She was amazing. She did everything right and made me feel safe and cared for while I thought I was dying. Miss Sheila you are a god send and the world could do with a few more nurses just like you. Thank you Mary was ED team for rocking it last night.

Their claims of not garnishing wages are bologna! Friend of mine just had wages garnished yesterday. Don't give this establishment any business. There are others choices around that truly care for the health of the community than this hospital.

Go anywhere else! This hospital likes to sue patients who can't afford to pay, sometimes without telling the patient they have to pay when services are rendered due to low income! Super ethical! If you don't see this as an ethical mistake, how can you make good decisions for your patients?
