feedback about Mary Washington Hospital, Inc
I have gave birth to both my children at Mary Washington hospital and had great experiences both times. All the nurses on the mother baby ward were very kind and the support and follow up the hospital provides was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
This is my first experience at this hospital after the school bus was rear ended by another vehicle. The absolute last time I will EVER IN LIFE visit this hospital. It took 5 hours.. FIVE HOURS!!!! For x-rays for the neck and discharge instructions. In what world do you wait this long in an "emergency room?" We were never checked into a room.but sat in a triage area with one chair for 7 people. The registration process was at least 2 hours into our wait and right before discharge they came back to get vitals because they were never recorded. What part of this is efficient?
To make matters worse, there was an assault between a couple who was also checked into the emergency room so police and security guards stayed in the back for at least an hour.
I've never been in a more unorganized, lengthy hospital in my life.
The 2 stars is for the doctor who did the initial evaluation and the one person who was doing Scribe (whatever that is). Other than that, be prepared to sit, wait and look at the wall.
I had my older children here 13 and 10 years ago. They drug tested my new baby and me and when we both came up negative, the nursing staff keep saying my baby was withdrawing and they wanted to put my baby on medication for Opioid addiction. Thank God I had my tubes tied and will never have another child here. I would never recommend having a baby here. The doctors and nurses will not listen to you.
Amazing hospital, doctors who listen and staff that’s always ready to help make your stay more comfortable!
This place was disgusting. I found dried blood in the hospital room My mom was staying in. I took pictures for proof. We got there at 9:44pm and didn’t leave until 12:50. A women walked in unannounced and took my moms papers and then left, never to come back. And then this lady walked in and took MY blood pressure I wasn’t even the patient! And then she discharged ME! Once again not even the patient.
