Fair. Slow with getting your medicines straightened out so you can receive in a timely manner. Also "various" nurses are extremely rude and some are extremely nice and the cleaning ladies and cooks seem to have the best bedside manner and I'm sure paid the least!!! Dr.Don Vaughn was my attending PA and was wonderful to me and I'd like for him to receive a BIG THANK YOU FROM ME AND MY FAMILY. HE HAS AN INCREDIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER AND TAKES TIME EXPLANING EVERYTHING IN DETAIL AS WELL AS GIVING YOU PLENTY OF TIME TO ASK ALL QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE. HE ALWAYS KEPT CONSTANT EYE CONTACT!!! IT'S ALL THE LITTLE THINGS THAT HE MADE A BIG EFFORT TO DO, NO MATTER WHAT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN. AND THAT MEANS A LOT TO PATIENTS. I KNOW IT DID TO ME!!! Give him a very big thank you from Andria Maria Logan, please
Also would like to give a big thank you to miss Sheila Adams who was my cleaning lady and did a superb job and was very friendly and nice super nice lady and I think that woman needs a raise because it was the first time my room was clean from top to bottom and she did not rest of the job either she did a very very good job cleaning my way and again I'm sure they are the least paid employees in the hospital or close to it anyway but she worked as if she was making as much money as some of the doctors! Thank you very much so your work did not go unnoticed. God bless to everyone that has had anything to do with my care here at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Most things were done in a timely fashion and I appreciate that because when you are very sick the last thing you need is an unruly person and someone that has an ugly mouth and treat you as if you are the dirt on the bottom of the shoe and I will have to say I came in contact with a few of those during my stay here as well!!! To which I will not name but all in all everyone has been really wonderful to me. Nurse Joyce and Annette if I'm reading this correctly office bored have also been apart of my wonderful care here they have went above and beyond to help me with anything I might need or ask for and never hesitated to contact a doctor if I needed that as well so a big thank you to them as well.

I have read other reviews and I differ my opinion from many. I just spent 8 days in here and I received excellent care.Sometimes I believe that some people don’t realize how busy the medical staff can be. The Hospital is small but that made for a lot of personal care. The nurses were all professional and caring. Most go beyond their regular duties every day to ensure their patients are taken care of. The Cafeteria staff was accommodating to my likes and dislikes being I stayed so long. The Cleaning Crews took great pride in keeping their areas clean.

I have been a patient in many hospitals around the country. I have to admit this was May favorite. That comes from the nursing service I received!!

CEO and couple of administrative employees are incredibly unprofessional and rude. I am not one to complain but I have never had an encounter with people this rude. Multiple employees have talked about how hard of a place it is to work here, but I can't personally be a judge of that because I don't work there. New company bought them out so hopefully Kerri Stepp and the CEO are replaced.
