I was in there October 26, 2018, do to feeling dizzy and my stomach hurting. I have been in there multiple times for different things and have never had a problem with the staff or the doctors what's so ever. But i do have a complaint that I want to share here right now. I came in and was registered everyone up front was awesome and friendly. I was sent to the waiting room, then was called to have blood drawn no problems there either. I totally understand that hospitals get busy and emergency come in, I understand that. But when a doctors comes in asks questions about why you are there and you tell that doctor and they don't even realize that you already had blood drawn and what ever else done before you where even taken to the room. I really think some doctors need to slow down wait for the report, read the report before coming to a patient and freaking them out with information that isn't true or they don't know to be true. But I do want to thank the observation department for making me feel comfortable and actually keeping me in the loop to what was going on with me that night i was taken down there. They did such a wonderful job. Please have your staff and doctors slow down a bit and try to be a little more understanding when a patient has to make accommodations at the very last minute for a child when your the only one they depend on.
Please keep up the good work and try to be a little more patient even when the hospital is in Chaos. Everyone deserves the best treatment and the doctors and staffs attention.
Have a wonderful
Had my doubts about going due to so reviews from my peers & coworkers. But hands down I think me and my family will be making the switch. Great staff from start to finish. Came in due to a car accident that my mom was in. They made her feel very comfortable. And kept her health in mind first. Very fast and efficient.
Been in the emergency room with my father for nearly 14 hours in the hall, even though he’s been admitted, there are no beds available. Restroom in the emergency area is real stinky and I’m doubtful it’s been cleaned in awhile. Despite all of that, the staff here have been pretty terrific. EMT gave me a blanket as it’s pretty chilly in here and my fathers nurse has been nothing but kind and informative, and she fed me! Guess the moral here, don’t get sick on a Monday as they’re very busy.
I've been to Emergency, Outpatient, Diagnostic Imaging, and Inpatient services. The wait times have been minimal, the staff has been very friendly, results come back very quickly, reminders and followup are received in a timely manner, and they have gone above and beyond to make me comfortable and at ease. Thank you McLaren Macomb!
I didn't know what to expect going into a major surgery. Turns out the men and women in the surgery department are some of the best around. The staff took good care of me from registration, to discharge.
So many nurses and aids were patient and understanding. I was accommodated well during my overnight stay. I can't get over how nice and patient the staff was. They covered every base, explaining procedures and keeping track of the many different meds I had. I never had to call for help. Someone always came by to check on me.
Special thanks the spine clinic, Dr. Cucci, and the nurses in the recovery department. These were an experienced and passionate bunch. I couldn't have asked for a better environment to be in while having a big surgery.
Great job McLaren Macomb.
