Got in at the right time with right people etc as always. Of course their community contacts info and support is crucial. Feeling a bit better and thankfully as always. Didn't know about hospitals hospitals till I was overseas. What a life, best wishes and recommend as always for theur personal touch, passing down knowledge and spirits of care.

We have been so impressed with the excellent care Robert has received so far at McLaren Macomb, he has had 2 hip replacment surgeries since March of this year and two other more recent surgeries, one being today. The staff is wonderful, kind and compassionate, they are well trained and knowledgeable. We didn't encounter one rude person. Everyone had a kind word or a friendly smile. We appreciate this so much as we have had a very very tough year so far. I know at one time the reputation was not the best..but things have changed. We have had nothing but great care!

Left work writhing in pain. Had my fianceé drive me to the ED at McLaren Macomb. Arrived at 1:30 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon. As I'm writing this review, it is almost two hours I have been here and received zero medical attention. I am not one of those "chronic pain" people, nor am I one to go to the hospital frivolously, so when I do go, it's for good reason. I sit here, still in the waiting room, trying to decide whether or not to just go home, self medicate, and pass this kidney stone without seeing a doctor.

So I came here because I sprained both my ankles(I thought I broke my ankles due to how I fell and how much pain I was in) Anyway, when the paramedics brought me in to the hospital, I was met with unfriendly and visibly annoyed staff. Everyone that entered my room didnt tell me who they were and what they were doing. I felt like an inconvience and I should not have felt that way. When I told them I had to use the bathroom, they took forever to come and then they wheeled me to the restroom and basically left me there. I had to wheel myself back to my room. I should never have been left alone because I was a fall risk. Anyway, the only plus is that I wasn't there long. I didn't get to go home with any medication for pain just here's some crutches and good luck even though I was and am in a large amount of pain. I now know, to stay away from this hospital. My dad died in this hospital and I should of stayed away after that but the paramedics brought me to this hospital. I will make sure none of my family or friends go here. I wish I could review with a negative number but I can't

My Dad is there now and the difference between here and the other hospitals he’s been to is huge. The nurses have been great and my Dad is finally improving when other hospitals couldn’t find out what was wrong or give us any answers. I’m so thankful for the care he is receiving now.
