Had nasal surgery here and was truly blown away at how amazing the staff was. I'll admit check in was a little different than I imagined, but it was 5 in the morning. The pre op team was professional with good bedside manner. They did have me actually walk into the operating room myself and lay on the operating table to get comfortable before anesthesia, which again was nothing like is ever experienced and found odd. The surgeon and his team were phenomenal. The nurses in recovery again were professional with great bedside manner. The real superstars though were the nurses after I got admitted. They made me feel like family! Truly amazing to be so comforted in the exact moment you needed that. They even walked me to my car at discharge. I couldn't help but to hug them for the amazing care they gave! Thank you so much!
No one wants to go the hospital, but I needed surgery so it was necessary. The nurses at The Medical Center of Aurora were pleasant and kept me comfortable during my stay. The pre check in is convenient and completes the necessary paperwork, before your surgery day. Everything was professionally handled and I have no complaints.
Every trip I have had to the Medical Center of Aurora has been wonderful, very good care, very professional staff, positive environment. This time, they really went out of their way. I was met in admissions by the Surgeon and the two Nurse Practitioners, my entourage as they took me upstairs. The latest trip was the thirty day follow up and it was fantastic, once we found out where we were supposed to be.
I give this place a 5-star because they help me when I had pneumonia and my mom was her foot surgery. But I would like to let them know that the valet is terrible. This was my first and my last time doing it because I was just going to run an errand real quick while my mom was in foot surgery and gave the guy my ticket, but I do not remember him giving it back to me. He said he did but I didn't have it on me and I knew I had to keep up with it so I wouldn't leave it behind like that because I wanted to get it voucher. It didn't help that none of them to speak clear English when I was trying to explain the situation to them and I ended up having to pay the $3 anyway. So next time I have to come up here I will just park and walk. I'm not giving a bad review to the hospital just a valet service is terrible. The hospital does a great job.
The ER staff was considerate of my needs and modesty. I am a cancer patient and each detail of my treatment was carefully outlined. My issue was resolved within a timely manner.
