Memorial Hermann Surgical Hospital Kingwood

We had a 2:00 appt. arrived at 1:55. 3 ppl were in the waiting room. It is now 2:48. We have not been called back yet. 1 person still left in the waiting room that was here when we arrived.

It was my husband’s first time having surgery for a fractured ankle so granted we were a little low key anxious even though I’m a nurse of the MH health system. However, Ms. Cheryl at the registration desk was SO friendly and fun to talk to. She always updated me about what was going on while my husband was in pre-op and during surgery. The nurses and anesthesiology have all been wonderful and always Introduced themselves, explaining to us about everything. Dr. Cusick was 3 hours late but working in healthcare myself, I understand it happens sometimes so I never felt upset about it. He took his time to explain everything and he didn’t seem rushed which is always appreciated. He is wonderful to talk to and knowledgeable. I didn’t know a MH facility like this existed and I’m happy we were referred here. Overall a really outstanding experience and I felt calm and confident with the care the staff would provide my husband while waiting which says a lot since I know RNs can sometimes be the “worst” patients/family members!

Had a double hernia surgery there...Dr Andrassy and the entire staff were topnotch!...Everyone was extremely kind, answered every question and gave me information on things I hadn't thought of. 1st time I've ever had surgery and I felt like I was in competent hands throughout the entire process! If I could give platinum stars I would. Thanks guys...

These people are so unprofessional and lack knowledge. The n.p Suzanne told me I missed my period because I was over weight. Ha!! I been over weight for the last 5 years and I have never missed a period until now!! Then I called as she instructed me to after my blood work had came back and I still have not received a call and it’s been a week and a half . I feel they are letting anyone practice medicine. Suzanne is a joke and I don’t recommend her to anyone. Please do your research and find a better place to go!

My mom had a Knee Replacement done @ this hospital. Dr. Korthauer is a great Doctor he took the time to explain things before and after Surgery! All the Nurses and All Staff were Awesome! I highly Recommend Memorial Hermann Kingwood! So glad we picked this place for Surgery!
