Stayed in room 515 on 2/5/19. I don't know why the low reviews. Every single person I interacted with was amazing. Pleasant, cheerful, patient, kind, caring, and helpful. I wish I could remember all their names but Dr Hahn, Nurse Joan, Bonnie, Leticia/Jackie, Melanie, Cathy, Dr Gomez, Scott in the ER, and everyone else was awesome. Will always choose this hospital over the one in Mt Airy.

Visited Monday night for elevated BP...the staff and nurses were excellent and all deserve a 5. However I felt so rushed by the doctor, he barely allowed you to finish one question before asking another. My visit was actually in the triage area and I NEVER saw him again until I was discharged and getting dressed to go home. No the Er was not busy and the waiting room was EMPTY..... oh he passed me many times whistling the theme to Andy Griffin ....bed side manner awful ! Nurses and radiology excellent ! You don’t start charging me until I come through those double doors so to come in while the triage nurse was attempting to do her job was a bit over the top and so was the whistling 😙

Go elsewhere. There are options in the surrounding counties. Used to be a good hospital. Is now dirty and under-staffed. Most of the staff is under-trained or just out of nursing school - it seems. No communication. No continuity of care. I feel lucky to have gotten out relatively unscathed.

I took my son there a couple weeks back for burns to his hands and legs. We were seen very quickly, treated and released in less than an hour. We went back 48 hrs. Later for a recheck and was out in 15 minutes!! The nurses were professional, the doctor was warm and caring. We had a good experience!!
