Mercy Hospital Cassville

Dr. Turcotte gave my mom antibiotics after she made it clear she was allergic to them. She had a severe allergic reaction. All the other doctors are respectful and nice but she is rude and demeaning. I fell and hit my head twice by slipping on grass and she refused to believe me and put me down as a "malingerer" like no I'm just very accident prone and have chronic health problems. One that affects balance. So much for "do no harm"

The lady's in the emergency room took very good care of me. Nurses too. During my intake in ER and during my hospital stay. Even sent me a get well card after I had been home. They worked hard to find out why I was sick and get me well. HOWEVER Dr. Cox was not. That idiot tried to tell me my large ovarian cyst was "just my period". Basically if you go don't trust Dr. Cox.

I fell and dislocated my elbow while at roaring river. This emergency room staff were excellent Dr. Himes and his staff were caring and did an excellent job taking care of my problem. When I went to the orthopedic surgeon in my home town his comment was "You had an excellent doctor because he did a great job helping your elbow." If I have another accident I hope I have someone who takes this much care of me.

Went in for an abscess. The front desk nurse was rude. Went back and seen 4 different nurses. They were all rude and when I tried to talk to them they would tell me the doctor would be in soon and walk out of the room. The only respectful person there was the doctor and that is sad considering they work in a health care field and are supposed to make the patients feel comfortable and taken care of and not one nurse did that. The experience was the worst I've seen and I'm VERY certain that I will not be visiting here again unless they have a change in employees.
