We've been coming here for 4yrs and never have problems. Been to the ER twice and urgent care maybe 5 or 6 times. Broken bones, strep, flu, dehydration, and 2 kids with head staples. I've had an ultrasound done there before so I'm not sure why some are saying no ultrasound. They've always been nice and thorough. The only issue I have was one of the nurses in urgent care didn't seem to hear me or let me finish a sentence but then noticed she wore a hearing aid. The nurse practitioner in the ER was a little hard to understand but was very nice. I'm glad we have had a good experience.

I went in to get tested for strep throat and told the nurse I was pregnant to be sure I didnt get any medication that waw harmful and even though they did absolutly nothing involving pregnancy they took it upon themselves to charge my entire appointment under pregnancy related causing insurance to not cover the cost forcing me to pay 583$ for a less than one hour visit just to be tested for strep. I am NEVER going back to this pathetic hospital that tries to weasle money out of its patients. Ridiculous.

Original surgery Dec 2015, bill pd off for awhile, but today I received a call that I still have a balance. This place is a nightmare. Had previous calls last few years that I had a balance and I had to spend my own time and money to fax documentation to their business office. What a joke I tell all my friends and family to go elsewhere. I wish I could give a negative amount.

I just read so many really bad reviews that I can't understand. I have gone to this hospital for 2 years for iron infusions, and everyone is so efficient, so courteous, etc. My husband has also gone to the ER twice in the last few years, and the ER staff were great - very professional, took the time to treat us well, and almost no waiting whatsoever. Many of the complaints I have read seem to be that urgent care could not treat the problems presented. Urgent care is only for "minor" illnesses, such as the flu, etc. The nurses are making the right calls when sending someone to the ER for more serious issues. And, as far as transferring to other hospitals for better treatment - all the hospitals do that. Each and every hospital has a certain level of care that they specialize in, and if they deem that another hospital is more capable, wouldn't you want to got there? For a small community like Troy, I am so extremely grateful to have this hospital nearby. Again, we have always been treated with respect, and the care has been wonderful.
