feedback about Mercy San Juan Medical Center
11/24/18 went to emergency room in great, obvious pain. I saw the triage "Doctor", but apparently, he wanted me to explain quickly. Asking over and over again, what I wanted? I said "not to be in so much pain". He told me it was related to my back pain that I had been seen in the very same emergency room on thanksgiving for. He wrote me a script for muscle relaxers. I'm home now. Unable to walk more than 15 feet without doubling over. Sorry if I bothered you with my visit doc, because that's exactly how you made me feel.
Extremely rude staff. They love their dogs but hate humans. The only thing they care about is MONEY, MONEY & MONEY! This hospital seriously in need of new management and staff. I am extremely sorry for leaving a negative feedback but trust me people I have no other choice. I agree with one of the review that animals are treated way better at the Vet than patients at Mercy San Juan Emergency room. I agree that they have a very tough job at ER but still they should be nice and caring with people. I want to name and shame their staff but I won't because I don't want their staff to be in trouble. I wish I could tell the names of the nurses and security guards here at public forum. Their tag line is Dignity Health "Hello Humankindness", but folks trust me they have zero dignity and respect for their patients. Please do yourself a favor and avoid going to Mercy San Juan ER at all cost. I hope my review would help them to improve their service. I wish I could give them zero star.
This place is very consistent on delivering bad service. In other words this place ran out of mercy. Can’t get simple things done here, there’s no microwave so you can warm up your child’s milk or food, no fridge to keep the milk, one nurse said we can keep it in the fridge if it’s labeled, but now another one says oh sorry we don’t have a fridge with a fake smile. The night shift nurse was nice at least she brought us a bowl of ice so we can store milk in it, and warmed up some milk in a microwave somewhere. But the morning shift one, it took her four hours to bring a bowl of ice. Our son didn’t sleep for two nights, well he was sick right! And being traumatized with all the blood tests, x-rays and all that. The third night as he was finally able to sleep the poor kid had to be poked again as soon he woke up, can’t you just give that poor child a break? We all know he is there for treatment and you are all the ones who know everything in there. But seems like some nurses are forgetting why they are even there. Your perfect fake smiles aren’t the only job you have. In the end we as parents didn’t ask for anything for ourselves we were just trying to get things done for our son who was a patient there.
My favorite part about Mercy San Juan hospital is that they always put the patient first and do not cut any corners to provide all diagnostic testing 24 hours a day. We also had a wonderful experience giving birth to one of our children there. All the nurses and staff exceeded our expectations.
I have to say that I was treated very well at this hospital The nurses were all polite and helpful. The doctor I dealt with was very knowledgable and friendly. In fact all of them were. I went in with a blood clot in my lung.
They explained what they expected of my treatment before release. I really liked the lady doing the ultrasound, she was looking for more clots and she visited me regularly to check up on me, nice person.
