I’ve come here for years now even with all the bad reviews mostly because I had my children here and your labor and delivery department is awesome but today I will be reporting this hospital and making sure something is done! I have been sick for plenty days now and as I was burning up with a fever Of 103. Couldn’t even get out of bed . The Nurse checked vitals ,my blood pressure was very high and again my fever was at 103 !!! To be checked in and taken to the second waiting room after being here for at least 4 hours there was two couples in this second waiting room and I came in. Then the nurse brought more people not once did she call my name to put me in a room she put everyone in a room after waiting another 2 hours. I finally get to a room *pain has elevated obviously tremendously with in these 6 hours of no care or help* I had no strength to get up and say anything. I was in a wheel chair. As they ask for a urine sample and I had previously explained I was throwing up all day obviously I’m dehydrated I cannot give any urine right now this doctor decided to argue with me and justify the pain I’m in. “Her words you haven’t even been here that long ,we cannot help you here your better off at parkland” mind u I haven’t had any medicine I’m still nauseous and having hot n cold flashes through out my body. My hands and feet were numb. She said I couldn’t have a cover because I had a fever when she first came in. To then read on my files that I have anxiety and she blamed everything on that, she said your just having an anxiety attack. So at this point I’m livid because I haven’t been seen helped and now this doctor is in my room telling me she refuses to help and I’m better off at parkland. After I raise my voice because obviously I wasted 6 hours to be told I won’t be helped at all and I’m in excruciating pain. She then proceeds to say she’s gonna call the cops on me. & refuses to give her name. I will find out who was on duty and I promise it’ll be dealt with! I’ve never had a bad review but today! Was the worst experience of my life especially after I went to Baylor& Scott Irving! They seen me as soon as I walked in and hooked me up to IV fluids immediately and was able to identify the problem immediately. I refuse to ever come here again and corporate will be notified as well as health and human services! IF YOU EVER HAVE A CHOICE! DO NOT COME HERE NOT EVEN IF YOUR DYING THEY MORE THEN LIKELY WILL JUST SEND U HOME ON YOUR DEATH BED!

Whats up with the low stair ratings? I tell you what, February 2016 I had the widow maker hart attack. Never did I think that would happen to me. Here at Charlton my life has been extended after a 20 minute procedure and two days "up stairs". As I was being wheeled along to the icu, I realized all the nurses smiling at me. The room nurse and technicians were very nice to me. Soon the room nurse explained what a widow maker was and the survival rate. So thanks to all y'all up at the Charlton. 1 Peter 1:24-25 All flesh is as grass And all the glory of man is as the flower of the grass. The grass withers. And the flower fade  But the word of the Lord endures forever" Be encouraged, ask the living God to lead you and read scripture.

I have usually viewed this hospital’s emergency room as one of the worst in DFW when it came to my families care. I even experienced racism by a white male employee back in 2011 when my mother was rushed to the hospital. But on Saturday, my family experienced one of the hardest days of our lives when my aunt passed. Nurse Cassie (ER nurse) showed such great compassion towards our family and ensured we were okay. If Charlton can enforce an environment of respectful care as this nurse had shown, I believe they can become a respected choice for healthcare.

This was the worst decision I made yesterday. Been here since 9pm was told they would put me on the fast track list and I'm still here. Damn shame. How are you going to only have 1 PA seeing patients? The nurse hasn't come in. No one has said anything. My sister had to ask for an update.

Labor and Delivery Completely unprofessional. I came in to the emergency after a concern that I called my Dr. over. She told me to go to the ER. As I'm explaining my concerns (calmly I might add) this woman is literally rolling her eyes at me and being super condescending. I'm a first time mom, I may have some facts wrong. Ok. Instead of putting me at ease she chose to be rude. Then I could hear her telling my business and laughing with other nurses down the hall. I don't go to a hospital to be bullied. I will never come back here again. You guys should be ashamed of yourself.
