Pathetic. After being hit by a car and going to the ER, they didn't bother to send a bill. However, 12 days later I receive notice where they had filed a lien against my property. Twelve days! Don't send a bill but by God they can get to the courthouse quickly. I will say that everyone from the janitor to the doctors were extremely nice, but that still doesn't make it right that I received a stupid notice about a lien. I'm pretty sure most of the people there never pay, so I can only assume they figured I could afford to pay for x-rays that I didn't need, etc.

Update: I was contacted by someone from the hospital today. She explained that these liens are normal protocol when a patient is involved in a motor vehicle accident. She asked that I send her a copy of the police report so she can attach it to my bill. I then spoke to my neighbor who is an attorney and he said it's the way Methodist works so that when and if the person who hit me is found, if money is paid out, the hospital has dibs on getting paid. Understandable since they need to be paid like everyone else. And she was also extremely nice on the phone. I've not dealt with anyone at Charlton that wasn't extremely pleasant.

My mom is 95 yrs old and the staff is very professional and charismatic about there job. Very friendly and always ready. Elderly people have many complications and the staff went right to work and diagnosed my mother situation immediately and took care of business. I would Highly recommend this hospital to anyone. I want to personally thank the staff for there dedication for a job well done.
Thank you guys!!!

I was told I had to make my service dog leave. For no reason other then they stated it was their policy. This was after we were asleep and 2 nurses come to wake me after he had been there for hours. No one and I mean no one was aware of the ADA laws and kept saying it was their policy. Then after that the care I was given was completely different. The ADA has been around since 1990..Educate your employees your a hospital. This will not be the last they will hear from me either.

Best place to go if you want to die! I’ve been “waiting for a room” in the ER for well over 2 hours and have been here long enough to watch them change shifts, watch the ER room get full, empty and full again. PATHETIC. It took them so long to see one man he ended up passing out in the restroom and they took a good minute to even get him off the floor.

Don't use this place they tell you your insurance is in network then once billing comes your not anymore. They try to charge you hundreds of dollars more then send your stuff to collections even after you set up payment plans with them. Don't give you the option of a private room or shared room but charge you extra. I have been fighting them for 6 months now.

Update
I was asked to call. I have left several voicemails and when I got a person she couldn't help me and said she would give my information to the person who could help. Still no help
