The doctors and staff at this hospital have been absolutely wonderful. We never had to press the nurse button more than once for any issue. The food is above par. No one was ever snippy... As a 2nd time back surgery patient, we now know what a great hospital is as opposed to the 'not so great' hospital we used the first time when I didn't feel comfortable leaving my patient/husband alone for more than 15 minutes.

I brought my wife in to the emergency dept to see a doctor. The RN is very combative and ended my ability to sit with my wife. I wish we had chosen another hospital, as she's very sick and I have MS. trouble right off the bat.

I had major back surgery at this hospital with Dr. Michael. The experience has been incredible. The staff assisting with my care have been awesome. But I want to mention specifically one guy, Larry in Food Service. He works hard to make sure I get a good meal. He cares and tries to do his best. He’s been incredible. Where have you seen the Food Service guy hitting it hard, showing up trying to get the job done? Hospital has been an incredible experience.

Had a service at this hospital. Check-in staff and nursing staff was great. But bill contained no itemization at all. It just contained the amount due, so no way to verify accuracy based on what they sent. (Minus one star.) So, I called them, and it took me multiple requests to get billing staff to send me an itemization, and they were eager to get me off the phone. (Minus another star.) Hospital should send itemized bills by default; patient should not have to ask for itemization of charges.

We had a great experience at Methodist Hospital for Surgery as well as a perfect result to the surgery. The facility was beautiful, clean and the people were wonderful. We had a problem with a bill, that took some escalation to get it resolved, and in the end the problem was on my end, not theirs. They were patient and polite as we worked through it. Yes, I would recommend and would return to the Methodist Hospital for Surgery.
