I wish I didn’t even have to give a star. This hospital doesn’t deserve any stars. There were a few good nurses and support staff but overall this hospital provided a bad experience. My mother was transferred from Mount Pleasant and they were unclear as to what was going on and said Midland would have more resources to be able to help. They did an MRI, lumbar puncture and ekg but all they could tell us was that my moms left lobe in the braid was swollen so they believed it was a form of amnesia triggered by her blood sugar and pressure levels, micro strokes, herpes or an infection. They did an IV for antibiotics but every test came back negative. My mother also experienced dizziness, nausea, headaches, memory loss and confusion and they did nothing. The doctor directly told us they were perplexed by what was going on but confident cause her memory came back that they could send her home.. her memory didn’t come back. Every 5 minutes we have the same conversation, she’s still confused and doesn’t remember things. How can you call yourself a doctor and not get the root of things but send the patient home? Shameful. I hope my mom gets better and is okay for her sake cause this hospital sure didn’t make sure she was okay.
E.R. efficient, very nice and informative. Most nurses and staff polite, expect to be patient dumped without explanation and if you have a handicap while watching staff brag and laugh about your condition. I was discharged still having all the heart leads still on and walked out on my own without being told why.
Had a good Experience in the ER with my Daughter, they are very Kind and Quick! Fastest hospital Visit I've ever had. The environment is comforting for all ages. I will continue going out of my way to this Hospital!
Everyone is professional and friendly. I've had nothing but the best of care there.
I suppose the lab work they did was okay but it would have been nice if they had told me they didn't accept my insurance rather than sticking me with a $1200 bill.
