I am blown away. Amazing does not accurately describe this facility and its staff. I had three operations at some of the supposedly "best hospitals" with the "best surgeons" done in of all places NYC, in Manhattan's ritcy, crème de la crème, upper east side. They are pale! PALE in comparison to the attentiveness, professionalism, kindness, thoroughness, ease, lack of complications and lack of pain, that this hospital provides. I am so amazed after my recent hip surgery that I just HAD to leave them a review the moment I got home from hip surgery, and am able to do so right after DUE to such amazing care! For weeks I've had to go there either for blood work, MRIs (Beyond amazing! If you ever get one, prepare to be amazed with the professionalism of the techs, back lighted images on the ceiling for you to look at while in it, and the headphones they use to play music for you while you're in it! I had to bring my own in NYC as they provided nothing in their dark little room with rude Brooklyn techs.) xrays (With also an amazing Russian woman who kept me focused on our shared tales from Brooklyn while they guided a GIANT needle into my joint), etc and every time, the atmosphere was comfortable and the staff were friendly. They spared no expense on the interior for the patient's and accompanying family's comfort and trust me, it makes a difference. No creepy painted over a thousand times NYC walls and floors. No sir/ma'am! Spacious private waiting room prior to surgery. Attentive and lighthearted nurses, front desk staff, lab staff, and anaesthesiologists. My hip surgeon, Dr. Kosempa, God Bless Him. I don't know how he did it, but he fixed the first surgery from a supposed "renowned" surgeon's work and however he did it, made it so it doesn't hurt half as much as the one I had at New York Hospital for Special Surgeries. And you know what else?! But wait! There's more! They gave me a teddy bear wearing a Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital blue shirt to match the shirt they gave me. A teddy bear! To a 28 year old adult! I-Love-These-Guys! My surgeon also didn't prescribe mountains of habit forming pain medications like they did in NYC, but appropriate medications with explanation with what each went with and why this as opposed to another should be taken. And no, to those wondering, I don't have fancy health insurance to warrant such care. They just provide the type of healthcare that everyone should be given. This is what healthcare should be.
