feedback about Milan General Hospital
A year after having a stroke I experienced the exact same symptoms. I called my Dr. who advised me to go to the hospital. This is what they did for me. After sitting on the edge of a bed for half an hour, the "guy with the degrees on his wall" came in. He had a couple of sheets with my case info from the hospital where I was treated for the stroke. It was the exact same printout I got from them. All he did was explain the big words to me like I'm some idiot who can't comprehend past two syllables. He gave me a Tylenol and a pill for nausea, neither of which I needed, and sent me on my way. Oh yeah, I got something else. A bill for almost $1,000. The worst thing about this is that a couple of years before the stroke, I received the same "care" at another Baptist hospital.
Avoid Baptist if you can. They have no problem playing with your life. But believe they'll try to take more than their share out of your pocket.
I only gave 1 star because I had to this hospital should be shut down. They make their patients that just come out of surgery walk down steps what hospital does that its crazy. No respect what so ever and the staff is more clueless than the patient. It was one of the worst hospitals I have ever been to. All the nurses where rude and I got told it was because their supervisor was not there. No reason to be rude to patients at all. They don't even have a wheelchair they make them walk from the recovery room it's crazy.
Very unprofessional! My dad had surgery today and no one will tell me how he is or anything about him or the surgery. I have called several times and got put on hold and got hung up on. Why won't they tell me how my father is?
Milan’s General Hospital took care of me very well. They had the best hospitality and made sure I had everything that I needed in order to recover. The best nurses and doctors !!!!!
Dr Hawkins was great! I went in for palpatations ane ot turned out anxiety was playing some nasty tricks. Dr hawkins took the time to explain in great detail what was going on. Again thank you Dr hawkins for your help and patience with me.
