The ER staff are very friendly and professional. I have used the clinics and ER for the majority of my life and have nothing but good things to say about them. Also, being able to get IV antibiotics and chemotherapy treatments outpatient there is a great service that is offered at the hospital.
I arrived at this hospital with Pancreatitis over 4th of July due to drinking too much. The ER is basically a closet. I was in so much pain I couldn’t walk. I asked for painkillers and a nurse said to me “ you will not be getting any painkillers “ as if I was Opioid seeking. When my labs came back, viola! I got over Dialadud. I was admitted with no doctor on duty. The next day a Doctor came and basically shamed me for what I had done. I told her, that she’s here to treat me medically, you’re not my therapist. Don’t go here. If you’re in the area, go to Aitkin.
Have a hard time sitting down, talking and trying to figure out the problems. Some seem to not care about the patient, maybe its just the money. In and out, bye, see ya, good day. IM ONLY GIVING MY *RESPECT* TO THOSE WHO DO HELP, and CARE, AND SHOW IT!
Went there over the weekend due to a gash in my friends head. They sent us home without even looking at it and told him to go rinse it off in the bathroom and sent us on our way. Had to come to the cities to get care as he was going into shock from the blood loss. Ended up having to get a blood transfusion. I wouldn't recommend going to this ER.
We love this place. Have a cabin at the lake and would rather go to the clinic in Isle than the one down where we live. Had to use ER too once and could not believe how personable and friendly everyone is plus they know their stuff. Highly recomend.
