My wife and I have utilized Mimbres Memorial Hospital on several ocassions and we have found quality care each time we were there as patients. I find most of the negative comments contrary to any of our visits. We have always found the staff to be caring, friendly and professional.

This hospital billed me for outpatient when I visited a Dr in an office there in facility. Never was I told nor did I agree to any billing of $958 as outpatient. What kind of racket is this? I had to stand in the hallway until I could be seated in Pain Mgmt Dr Office. I paid $45 Never for that visit and ins was billed $343. Never will I return there. Illegal practices for billing processes.

One of the worst hospitals I ever visited. My wife was admitted here for issues with a dimple that got infected and it needed surgery. The ER department is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars, ER was excellent. But the nighttime nurses at the room (and some daytime) and ICU were the worst. The nighttime ICU nurse lied to my wife and made her think her situation was worst than what it was, yet, anytime she needed help, she was constantly told, “We have more important cases, you’re not a priority.” One time she pushed her call button, needed to go to the toilet, no one answered, so she took everything off and went, then came back to bed, an hour later, nurse comes in and see why the on call button was on and gets on to her for not waiting for them to get her ready to go to the bathroom. If she has to be admitted to the hospital again, I WILL BOT have her admitted here again!

This is the worse Hospital I have ever been to. The staff working the ER mind you not all, but most are extremely rude. They have almost zero empathy for patients who need help. Their education level is scary, when they start googling your symptoms. I'm surprised they don't have a higher mortality rate. I'm stuck in bed and although they are the closest Hospital that I'm authorized to see because I'm a veteran. I'll just stay in bed and cross my fingers my meds work. I do not trust this ER with my own life. Blessings to any others who attempt to get help here.
